Melanie Caldicott (6 KP) rated 600 Hours of Edward (Edward, #1) in Books
Apr 29, 2021
A sweet thought-provoking tale about Edward - a man with OCD and aspergers. Cleverly written it takes the reader on a journey to understand Edward's condition but, more importantly, to get to know the man behind his disabilities. Powerful insights are revealed which actually open windows not only into mental illness but human nature. I enjoyed this book.

When Josephine discovers the significance of the data she inputs for her job, her world takes a very scary turn. What's more, her husband Joseph has been staying away from their ugly sublet for whole nights at a time. Read my review of this scary but thought provoking novel here. https://tcl-bookreviews.com/2015/07/data-in-lives-out.html

Gripping and disturbing all at the same time and a book that is very thought provoking providing a lot of talking points. Definitely one to read if you enjoy dark and gritty story lines with excellent characters. Thank you to Orion Publishing Group and NetGalley for enabling me to read and share my thoughts of Eye for an Eye.

Kate (355 KP) rated The Circle (2017) in Movies
Jan 25, 2019
Very good film, I have watched it a couple of times. I think it is supposed to be slightly in the future but it could actually be present day because it is based about living your life on social media and posting everything and I mean everything and the company that runs the software like Facebook. It is alarming real life as it shows how quick someone can be found via social media and it is a scary thought. Certainly thought provoking.
