Having just read book 3 in the series "End Play", I was jumping to read this the 4th in the series and was extremely pleased and grateful to Iain Rob Wright for sending me a copy prior to it's publication date in return for an honest, unbiased and unedited review.

Once again, Iain provides a fast-paced and thrilling read starring Sarah Strong and her colleagues at the Major Crimes Unit. From the first page to the last, this book had me absolutely hooked and I fair whizzed through it.

Full of excellent characters, a storyline that is not beyond the realms of reality (scarily so!) and written at a pace that fair trots along, this is a story well written and exciting and one that I would definitely recommend. Although you don't have to have read the others in the series, you won't be disappointed if you do but it does work as a standalone quite well.

I would definitely recommend to others who enjoy getting engrossed in the world of major crimes.

Nick is living his perfect life with his wife Carla and baby Christopher, nothing could be better. He really is contented and, as far as he's concerned, so is his wife. Then she disappears with their son, telling him she doesn't love him anymore but something doesn't sit right with Nick. Nothing is as it seems.

What a brilliantly written book. I seriously didn't want it to end. It had me hooked it was thrilling and suspenseful. I enjoyed the storyline and that it seemed to be more than one story. It didn't get confusing which I find is rare when you do something like that they were all connected in some way. I did find myself, when I got to the end, wanting more pages, I enjoyed it that much.

SHIFTER WOODS: GROWL is the third book in the Esposito County Shifters series, and features Denise (cougar) and Marco (tiger). There is also the dodgy televangelist and a Venezuelan cartel to contend with.

This fast-paced novella doesn't give you much background on our main characters, but what you do get is enough. It is also told in a way that makes it interesting and natural, not just an info-dump. What you do get is a thrilling account of good against bad, of love and romance, of magic and mayhem.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story, devouring it in one sitting. I loved being back in Esposito County and look forward to returning there again. A great story and brilliant addition to the series. Definitely recommended by me.
