MusicCritics (472 KP) rated Shapeshifter by Knuckle Puck in Music
Oct 26, 2017
Easy on the eye as they are on the ear. Where they might just triumph, however, is in changing the world. Because for anybody who is still interested in music for music’s sake, it’s unlikely that too many albums will top this in 2017.

Good Cast
I decided to give this film a chance after hearing a mixed bag of reviews. I thought the storyline was good and it had a good comedy aspect to it that wasn't too over the top. However, I've never properly watched the original series and feel like this may be part of the reason I liked it.

Not the best in the Marvel series
I found this film a little too repetitive, to the point I can't tell the difference between Avengers Assemble and Ultron, Captain America First Avenger, and Civil War. The story surrounding Bucky is rather boring, and Captain America is a little too over the top with his relationship with him. It's just one big Marvel blur.

Far Ahead of its Time
While some of it is quite dated, by today's standards, the concepts in this novel were far ahead of its time that make it a relevant and enjoyable read decades later. I just got my copy back from my son, a graduating senior and fellow bookworm, who rated it one of his top 3 novels ever read.
Dean (6927 KP) rated Goal! The Dream Begins (2005) in Movies

If you don't follow football, or know much about it this is likely to bore you. It has plenty of guest apperances from some top footballers. They try to make it more about living the dream and overcoming hardship to make it appeal to a wider audience. As football films go though it's as good as could have been expected.
Peter G. (247 KP) rated Sing (2016) in Movies
Jun 5, 2019
Not a very original story but the animation here is top notch as is the voice acting from an all star cast that should really have had a better script to get their teeth into, Harmless fun for kids with great music, but can't help but think the recycled script is nothing to write home about and the cast wasted.
Peter G. (247 KP) rated The Fifth Element (1997) in Movies
Jun 5, 2019
Bonkers, fast paced and very colourful actionfest, Bruce Willis is at his peak here as the cab driver tasked with protecting the titular fifth element although he is completely unaware of it, Gary Oldman produces an out of this world performance as the thoroughly unlikable Zorg, but it's Chris Tucker's over the top Rhuby Rhod that almost ruins a good movie.

Lumos (380 KP) rated Catan in Tabletop Games

This is a classic table top game. My friends and I don't get to play it much but if you are introducing someone to tabletop games, this might be a good one to start with. The rules are pretty simple to follow and the available actions on your turn are limited so there isn't too much for them to make decisions on.
