Gandalf vs The Balrog (4 more)
Huge battle scenes at Helm's Deep
Great action scenes
Epic story
Brilliant Sfx
Cinema at its best
My favourite of the Lord of the Rings films. I prefer the battle scenes in this one. The Gandalf vs the Balrog is a scene you won't forget. Everything about the film is top quality, production, sets, costumes, Sfx, the score. Combine that with a great all star cast and an epic story make this an amazing film.
Li Hughes (285 KP) rated Kingsman: The Secret Service (2015) in Movies

This is a movie that I re-watch a lot. I don't know quite why, but it's one of my current loves. It's a great mash-up/send up of old-school spy movies, particularly James Bond, and it does it well. Samuel L. Jackson's over-the-top villain Valentine is great and Sophia Boutella's side-kick Gazelle is way more than just a side-kick.

All star cast including Jennifer Lawrence (3 more)
Seeing the senior X-Men characters at a young age
Michael Fassbender stands out
Great Sfx
Interesting idea
It's nice to see a story of how Magneto, Xavier and Mystique etc came to know each other. Also to see how the X-Men came to be. I like the way it's tied into real events in History. The action scenes are great and the Sfx are top notch. A very enjoyable film.

PLEASE Don’t Watch
At first I was so excited to see this movie, but I have to say this is one of the absolute WORST movies I have ever seen. The entire movie is a mixture of “what is going on?” and “why are they doing that?” I pretty much felt angry the entire movie. Definitely a letdown considering how much I love Jennifer Lawrence and her movies. This makes my top 5 most hated movies.
Hendrik vanger (6 KP) rated Ikigai: The Japanese Secret to a Long and Happy Life in Books

This is one of the must have books.
Ikigai is a way of seeing life in a different light and finding what makes life worth living. After reading this book you will see life in a different and better way. On top the book is full of helpful advise from Japan about food or exercises for example.
This is one of the books you buy, keep it and you will read it over and over again ❤️❤️❤️

For me this was not a good film to watch despite the amazing grathics and robotics used in the film the story seemed to just run away from what i grow to love about the films. the film to me seemed like it was done because they had to do more then is it a gd idea.
and to top it off the cloneing of the young girl it was somthing i wish they never even consonplated

Original music score (2 more)
Fantastic all star cast
Terrific choreography
I can't believe how much I loved this movie. Hugh Jackman just keeps getting better and better in movies. The original score and beautiful choreography, mixed with a very talented cast make this movie an all star hit. It is now in my top 10 movies of all time, truly great for any age from 9 to 90. I hope you love it as much as I do.

Che (148 KP) rated The Angriest Man in Brooklyn (2014) in Movies
May 28, 2019
It was an interesting movie. Helps you understand that everyone processes death differently. Robin Williams showed a little range. Which is haunting after his death. But, it’s a great topic of figuring out what you’d do if you believed you only had a short time to live and how desperately hopelessness turns to anger. Parts of this movie were just over the top. The acting will never win awards, but, it’s a decent movie. Glad I saw this one.
Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2666 KP) rated Sympathy for the Devil (Madeline Bean, #1) in Books
Mar 9, 2018
Madeline Bean is catering the Hollywood party this Halloween. But things take a bad turn when the host, producer Bruno Huntley, dies in the middle of the festival. This debut features great characters and lots of fun twists to the plot and started what is still a top notch series. I just wish there were more than seven books.
