The acting was superb, and really engaging. there are some big names in this cast. The dialog was so well written despite the horrific things said. The cinematography was excellent, and beautiful. Spike Lee was at the top of his game with this one.
Paul Smedley (141 KP) rated Fire TV Stick with Alexa Voice Remote in Tech
Sep 30, 2018
I already had the first generation firestick so knew how they worked but wanted one with the voice search function to accompany my Sky Q box that does the same.
Not only is the Alexa voice search function good but I also found that the resolution is better, the speed is better and the load up is quicker!
The load up is still slower than a Sky box or Netflix on my smart TV but it’s the home to great shows such as Preacher which I highly recommend.
Overall, if you’re looking for a firestick then this model is the one to go for for speed and access to the great programmes and films available through Amazon Prime.
Setup is extremely easy, a PIN can be used to stop little ones going on anything not age appropriate or to stop any unauthorised purchases plus it’s interface is easy enough for children to use to watch kids programmes or even play some android games on!
Top product, top present and even better as I got it through Smashbomb’s giveaway!!!
Lee KM Pallatina (951 KP) rated Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (2019) in Movies
Aug 7, 2019
The movie starts by showing how different and alike the 2 characters are before throwing in some very welcome surprises.
During the movie, Statham shows how very comical he can be which is great to see but Johnson's attempt at being comical came across a little dry but was still entertaining.
This movie needs to stay far away from F&F as both are way too over the top and can only drag each Other down.
Aside from being what seems to be an odd attempt at combining F&F with the MCU, this was a great action movie none the less.
The back and forth Alpha male macho- testosterone filled competition between the two, with is worth the coin even if the story isn't you thing.
Quick note: this movie is very similar to the classic frenemy cop movie Tango and cash.
Gareth von Kallenbach (980 KP) rated Planes: Fire And Rescue (2014) in Movies
Aug 6, 2019
In attempt to keep Propwash Junction, the beloved airport that Dusty calls home, from being shut down due to a lack of fire trucks and planes, Dusty volunteers to train to become a fire fighter. Dusty travels to Piston Peak National Forest to learn how to fight fires from Blade Ranger (Ed Harris) and his brigade of firefighters.
The sequel to Disneytoons Studio, “Planes” movie is far superior than its predecessor. I must admit I was very disappointed in the first installment due to its lack of connection to the characters and an unengaging storyline. It’s easier to connect with these heroes. In this film, we get a glimpse of the life of firefighters and how they risk their lives every day putting out fires to save people, wildlife, and nature. There are several perilous firefighting rescue scenes which keeps you on the edge of your seat. I enjoyed every second.
