Leanne Crabtree (480 KP) rated The Forever Song (Blood of Eden, #3) in Books
Jan 6, 2021
As if this trilogy all happened within a year! There's so much stuff happened.
Admittedly it took me a while to get into this book since it's been more than a year since I read the second book in the series but once it really got going I devoured it, especially in the last two days.
One bit shocked me. One bit made me cry. One bit involving Jackal surprised me.
It was a really good ending to the trilogy and when I thought they'd killed the bad guy I had to agree with Allison's assessment of <b>"Why won't you die?"</b>. My heart was pounding for a good 80 pages as the showdown drew ever nearer.
A brilliant book.

I love this trilogy, but I don’t know what to think about this one, it was too slow in the beginning then too rushed at the end and there where a lot of questions unanswered. I just felt empty when I finished it.
Shaun Collins (3 KP) rated Doctor Who: Excelis Decays in Books
Jan 12, 2018
And the downward slide of Excelis continues. While this trilogy was meant to be epic, it becomes plodding by the third installment, with tales of zombified meat puppets and totalitarian regimes. It's all been done before, and better. Anthony Stuart Head and Sylvester McCoy are great, but not given much to work with here. For more, visit www.travelingthevortex.com
Erika (17789 KP) rated House of Names in Books
Apr 14, 2018
I've read a lot of novels based on classical mythology, and they're normally either really good, or really poor. This was definitely one of the better ones. Of course, I'm familiar with the story, however I'm more familiar with The Oresteian Trilogy by Aeschylus. I liked how the characters were fleshed out, and the story was completely engaging.

Kevin Phillipson (10072 KP) rated Hot Fuzz (2007) in Movies
Apr 10, 2019
Simon pegg (2 more)
Nick frost
Edgar Wright
Does for cop movies what Shawn of the dead did for zombie movies love this film it's so perfect in its knownly spoofing cop movies in general with extra horror spiced in both pegg and frost have outdone themselves with this one prefer it the third movie in the trilogy thumbs up
The final chapter in their Peter Pan prequel trilogy is the best one yet. Just be sure you read the other two first because you'll pretty much be lost by everything that is happening here.

Dana (24 KP) rated The Hobbit in Books
Mar 23, 2018
I am not sure why I didn't start reading this sooner, but I highly enjoyed it!
I loved getting to see more of what JRR Tolkien wanted than was put in the film trilogy. Honestly, if you want something awesome, listen to one of the radio teleplays, it will give you so much more than the films.
