I was lucky enough to get a free copy of the book from the goodreads giveaway, the description of the book intrigued me as I enjoy books based on true stories. Kitty and Gordon move into their new home in medbury Devon, when after a few days strange things start occurring in the house. Hannah beamish is a legendary witch in Devon and everyone thinks they know what become of her! Or do they?. The story goes back and forth from the 1800's to nowadays. The story written in italics is the story of what happened to Hannah beamish with the 2 stories coming together at the end.
I very much enjoyed this book, it becomes very dark and quite scary at some points, which I am frightened for kitty. I would recommend this book who into ghosts/witchcraft/true events.

This Much is True
By Miriam Margoyles
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

From Blackadder to Call the Midwife, from PG Tips to Harry Potter, Miriam Margolyes is Britain's favourite national treasure -- this is (at last) her extraordinary life story and it's well worth the wait.

She is a true gem a British treasure. I loved reading this her life is full of funny stories and such a beautiful memories. She has always been an honest open person when we watch her interviews I absolutely love watching her on Graham Norton. Such a genuinely beautiful woman.

Mock true-crime podcast adaptation of three of Lovecraft's best-known stories, scripted and directed by Julian Simpson. Achieved in impressive style, and genuinely frightening in places. Purists will be within their rights to complain about the way in which the stories are updated, and the extent to which the adaptation becomes progressively looser and looser as the series continues - but the inclusion of other real-world esoterica and conspiracy theories is impressively done. The tone wobbles slightly in places, but the performances are uniformly strong and it's done with wit and intelligence. One of the best HPL adaptations in any medium.

This is an easy read. Very fun and inventive while staying true to the stories I remember reading. For how little some of the characters have page time, I thought Neil Gaiman did a wonderful job giving each god and goddess a believable personality. I also liked that the goddesses had a brain and were not passive characters just there to help the story along.
