Mothergamer (1546 KP) rated Snowpiercer in TV

I remember liking the movie so I was curious about the TV show. The show may be slightly better than the movie. The cast is excellent and the atmosphere for the story is great. There are some dark and intense moments, but there are also some great emotional moments as well. There is a lot of terrific action throughout the show as the various factions face off against each other. For the first season, Snowpiercer really delivered all the way to the season finale and I can't wait for the next season.

Psych You Out Again
Yes, another cop show... but with a twist. I’ll be honest, I was worried because this show was made during the same time other law enforcement shows were big. What could possibly make this show unique?
Well, it’s a quirky tv show that has good clean humor. Although, if you don’t like the 80’s, you won’t like the jokes. It was a clever fun show that I greatly enjoyed.
Although it had the cliche young man who needs to grow up as the main character, his need to get out of trouble with the law creates an opportunity for him to use the skills his dad trained him with. Being highly observant has never before been so fun.

David McK (3425 KP) rated Horrible Histories: The Movie (2019) in Movies
Jan 14, 2020 (Updated Apr 7, 2024)
Effectively a (roughly) 1.5 hour extended edition of one of the skits from the TV show, this - I feel - suffers a bit from the absence of the core cast from that series, although it does try to make up for it with a virtual plethora of famous faces from British TV: off the top of my head including Alexander Armstrong (from Pointless), Warwick Davis, Derek Jacob, Nick Frost and Lee Mack.
This is set in and around the time of Boudiccea's rebellion against Rome, and is clearly aimed (not surprisingly!) at the younger audience, leaving aside the more gory aspects of the time and introducing (just like the TV show) several song and dance numbers throughout its running - a running time that could have been cut, somewhat, if it wasn't so enamoured of toilet humour!
