Love this app
I love how this app as kept me organised in what I watch and finding out new tv shows and saving them for future watching. I love that you can have a discussion about the episodes and how you can rate the episode and the actors/actresses in the shows. I have this and Letterboxd as I don't want to write it all down and forget about it as I usually on my phone so I can keep clicking on it and keep my watching up to date.

This raucous comedy focuses on the Gemstone family,a bunch of TV evangelical preachers lead by head preacher Eli Gemstone.

The main story focuses on eldest son Jesse is blackmailed by a couple of thugs who have a vidro of him and other members of the church taking drugs with prostitutes when on a church related trip to atlanta.As things get more complicated the rest of the family are dragged into it and much hilarity ensues.

I was never really a big fan of Danny McBride (who created the show also) but in this he is brilliant as the arrogant son Jesse,as is john goodman as his dad.

The setting
A guilty pleasure
If I’m honest I probably shouldn’t give it top rating, because, it’s a twee, daytime tv, light hearted crime drama that is over cutesy... That being said, I love it almost as much as my favourite Brit drama, Death in Paradise... It is a charming break from all the violent dramas that pepper our screens these days, the main 3 cast members really work well together as a mismatched pair of Investigators and their wannabe thespian assistant Sebastián. A supporting guest cast of actors who have cropped up in many British dramas bring the whole show together a treat...

So this finally arrived on now tv and thought why not show the kids a bit of my childhood. The overall film was great and I loved how it gave you the story of how shaggy met scooby and why there bond is so close. However I did find the graphics were a little bit too overly cartoony for me but then I grew up with the old school scooby doo so maybe nothing would compare to that. Would definitely recommend giving it a watch though, especially if like me you grew up with the programme!

Wonderfully daft
After watching the tv series, I knew what to expect from the book and plot wise, there is very little difference between the two. But as always, the book is a lot better than the series.

I’m a big fan of Terry Pratchett, and this is a wonderful story showcasing his storytelling talents. It’s fun, entertaining, and full of British humour which comes across a lot better in the book than it does in the show. It’s a great story with some brilliant characters, although I do think it’s a rather unthreatening irreverent take on the end of the world, but i suppose that’s Pratchett all over.
