Excellent detective
The death of a woman in a bath tub starts the story off and it unravels from then. The secrets really dont stay buried.

Kim Stone is a phenomenal detective, very believable and this first case really hits home. The plot is dark and twisted, it has you on tenter hooks wondering who done it throughout. The list of suspects is long but the writing enables you to follow along well.

Really didnt see the twist at the end after all the drama.

Absolutely loved this new installment in the Rainie & Quincy series!! Was a whirlwind read, I thought I knew "whodunnit" but the story would take a twist and I'd be completely wrong, which is Awesome!! Definite need to read book!!

Fun look at Christmas traditions with Amelia's literal twist. Nothing out of the ordinary for the series, but still fun.

I loved it from start to finish. This book gets you thinking and guessing only to throw you in another direction with a twist right until the very end. Would highly recommend to crime lovers. (0 more)

Rooting for the kid all the way on this one. The big plot twist is surprisingly predictable but still a decent story. The madness of the end happens so fast and is over so fast it's hard to digest

Where it all began. Amazing horror story, with a detective twist, rather than violence, even though violence did exist as well. I loved the plot and the unpredictable ending. Saw definitely started a whole new era of horror movies.

I love books that have a combination of stories, it's like taking a winding road with ups and downs and everything in between. This book is no different. Each author brought a very unique twist to some beloved stories
