A good book that kept me interested all the way through. It had a good twist to it that I didnt see coming and also a good ending. This is the second book by Christopher Ransom that I have read, and i thoroughly enjoyed them both.

Short read
Really good and funny short read! Little bit of a twist at the end, which is definitely not what you would expect from the start. The only problem that I had was that it was just too short! I needed more before it ended!

I enjoyed this fictional accout of the Dee Dee and Gypsy Rose story. I liked the twist and turn that it took and how Rose Gold grew into a stronger person, not always a good person but what would anyone expect with how she grew up.

Finished last night one word to say brilliant like the film version but with added twist after the first episode which surprised at first but it works but the best part of this is the film cast returning to their roles to voice the animation highly recommend

David McK (3550 KP) rated Argylle (2024) in Movies

Well, that was ... different.
This is a star-studded action adventure starring Bryce Dallas Howard as an author of spy fiction, who finds her novels becoming reality in a twist turny flick that takes a while to get going but is enjoyable enough once it does.

Not for me
The twist at the end is far too unbelievable, and in my opinion ruined the book a bit. It was a gripping read. The characters are well written and easy to get to know. I love the fact it's based around a earthly event. That was interesting to read about and learn. It does portray the baddy as the worst kind of baddy, which I think is a bit much, a regular baddy rather than an extreme one would have made this a better read in my opinion.
