Dark twist on a classic story
Fantastic take on a classic novel
Just read it! seriously!
I had this book bought for me by my SO because he knows I love Alice in Wonderland, so I wasn't really sure what to expect from this book. I definitely wasn't expecting to love it, but I did, I honestly couldn't put it down.
I love books with a bit of a dark twist, especially classic lit like Poe. If you love the classics and dark literature then this book is for you. Henry takes all the characters you love from Wonderland and makes them new and sinister. It's a fantastic take on a classic novel and I cannot recommend it enough.
I recommend book 2 in the chronicles too!

What a great thriller debut book for Holly Jackson. I was engrossed from the start to the end with helping Pippa and Ravi find the real killer of Andie Bell. There were so many twist and turns I felt like I was watching a documentary on how solving a real murder case might go. I was invested in the characters as well as the writing was on point. What a great thriller debut book for Holly Jackson. Freaky Friday with a killer twist
This nearly went under the radar but once I saw it was from the director of @Happy Death Day (2017) I was keen to check it out. So we have a killer twist on the body swap idea. As a serial killer and a high school girl swap bodies. This leads to a lot of interesting scenarios for both, although amusing they could have done a bit more on the comedy side.
It starts very well and in a very gory fashion with many nods to various slasher films especially Friday the 13th. Definitely a film made for horror fans. Although it slows a little bit before the final act, overall it was a fun film.

Excellent Debut
From the first page you are gripped by this sassy PI and her hectic life. She is not rich and loves her job, even if there are certain twist to her busy life. You feel as if you are actually Kinsey and when you get to the end you know you have to get B is for ....

Something original
I remember seeing this at the cinema, what starts out as a simple plot does turn out to be more entertaining. I think the only problem I had was I worked out the twist quite early on, so it became quite predictable after that. Still an enjoyable film though and quite funny in places.

Great script (1 more)
Good cast
Something different
Bit of a strange film a Western with a horror twist. It has a good cast and witty dialogue but some how felt rather low budget. The main problem is the film could easily be cut by about 30 minutes. It's very slow at the start and middle section. At least it's original.

Good book
Very good read, captivating and right into the story. So much is right at the tip of it all, and yet the author is holding back or is just going right into the story. There is a twist, which some may or may not have seen coming.

The only good one in the series
A good film well done on a big budget. A teen romance film with a Vampire twist. It didn't have as much action as I was expecting but the special effects are pretty good. It has some good scenes underling what a Vampire can do. Unfortunately the rest of the films weren't as good.
