Outside and Inside
Cube Zero- is good movie, better than the second one, the second one is good and twisted but you have to watch it multiplte times to fully understand. This one and the first one you probley only have to watch it once to fully understand it, but overall this trilogy is twisted and insane. So the multiplte viewings is a must, cause its soo good.
The Plot: A monitor (Zachary Bennett) decides to help a captive (Stephanie Moore) escape from a structure in which trapped occupants meet ghastly deaths.
While the first two films take place almost entirely within the maze, Cube Zero is set in both the interior and exterior of the cube. The film also reverts to the industrial-designed, colored rooms of the first film, but with a refreshed and redesigned set.
Its a good movie and overall a great trilogy and overall a good horror franchsie. If you havent seen this franchise, i highly reccordmend it.

I'm going to keep my review short to avoid spoilers. This is an extremely readable and engrossing book. It's dark and twisted, and yeah, wow! I'd heard it was shocking and it certainly has its moments. I thought I saw where it was going, and I definitely got some of it right, but not all of it. It some ways, it was a fun little journey; in other ways, a bit terrifying. The perspectives alternate between Rose Gold and Patty, with some looks into the past as well. It's very effective, and one of my favorite parts was that your loyalties shifted between the two. Did Patty hurt Rose Gold? Is Rose Gold as despicable as her mother? Is there anyone we should be rooting for here? The book leaves you with a lot to think about.
I'm glad I read this one. It might not be a light and happy read, per se, but it's a compelling and twisted one. 3.75 stars, rounded to 4 here.

There is a lot of sick and twisted-ness in here which I always love, but it's the story and the great set of characters in this book that really got me into this! There are also added bonuses for Stephen King fans with many subtle references to different books, showing that this story also takes place in his father's universe. PS. Be sure to read "a note on the type" at the end :-)

The Red House
Another good book by Adam Nevill (End Of Days, Ritual) this time dealing with the Red House and it strange occupants and twisted history. Quite unsettling at times and the one thing that Adam Nevill exels at is creating tension and trapping (for want of a better word) his characters in horrible situations. An author who's books I'll will now purchase on the strength of his name alone. Recommended.

And I thought my family was twisted!

Andrews really puts you into the story and into the mind of Cathy. But there is a LOT of mature content in this book! Wow! Between rape, incest, child abuse, and psychological trauma, you'd think it would be a depressing experience but you're rooting for the kids the entire time! But take it from me...draw out a family tree to keep track of who is who.

This book was disturbing and amazing, like a terrible train wreck you can't look away from! The protagonists are common enough that they seem harmless and boring but at the same time, unbelievably twisted and evil in their lack of morality and compassion. I felt sorry for and repulsed by the narrator almost concurrently while rooting for her redemption and condemnation. It is truly a sensational novel that keeps you interested, engaged and terrified.

WOW- what an ending!? This book was so much more than I expected.. it answered so many questions and took this entire story to a whole new sick and twisted level!? LOVED it! I was a roller coaster of emotions.... furious with rage, ripping with jealousy and in the end, I bawled my eyes out when I finally learned of their fate. HIGHLY recommended dark read!!! Diving right into the next book for Caleb's POV!
