Before Hunger Games there was this WILD and supremely violent tale of kids being forced to kill each other. I had a hard time keeping track of all the kids, but as they started to be killed off it became, understandably, less hard

Not for the faint hearted.
I love Martina Cole books, even though they are very violent and graphic in nature. You really feel for Marie Carter, as she hasn’t had a happy life and had no one to look after her through anything.
