I'm a single mom of a teenage competitive figure skater. I work as an academic coach at a high school (like an athletic coach, but for academics). I rescue old, forgotten books from antique shops, or anywhere I come across them. I have a BA in English from San Diego State University and plan to get a masters in comparative literature from University of Iceland after the kid is out of high school. I also AAs in Spanish, English, and Creative Writing.
