GameCritics (290 KP) rated Obduction in Video Games
Oct 20, 2017
It’s a game that doesn’t tell you a lot about what’s going on, with the exception of the two possible climaxes. It’s also a game that intentionally misleads you, and expects you to bang your head up against a wall until you figure out the solution

GameCritics (290 KP) rated Aquaria in Video Games
Oct 20, 2017
Aquaria is an extremely high-quality product and a fine example of a genre that hasn't gotten a lot attention in recent years—it's no surprise to me that it took top honors at the 2007 IGF awards. Its charm and style engrossed me from the opening level

GameCritics (290 KP) rated Nidhogg 2 in Video Games
Oct 20, 2017
Nidhogg 2 is a surprisingly short game, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a lot of fun. While the Arcade Mode is rather short at eleven stages, the local and online multiplayer options will keep fans coming back.

GameCritics (290 KP) rated The Witness in Video Games
Oct 20, 2017
Solve enough puzzles in each area and you’ll get confirmation that you’re closer to the end, a climax that brings together everything you’ve learned. Those disappointed by a reward of further tasks ought to look at other video games

GameCritics (290 KP) rated Broforce in Video Games
Oct 20, 2017
Technical issues aside, Broforce is a delightfully chaotic love letter to the brightly-colored excesses of 80’s action movie carnage and coin op shooters.

Excellent screenplay from a great short story (1 more)
Thomas Jane is amazing
Just a good old fashioned ghost story
I try not to put too much stock in Netflix produced Horror Films. I Am The Pretty Thing... Was not so great, and prior King offering Gerald's Game could've been better.
But they got this one right. It was creepy as shit.
A true slow burn o a movie, it drags a little in the beginning, but the slow spiral downward in to true dread for Jane's character is felt by audience members.
A true story of a man's slow decent into insanity and desperation that makes only the most heartfelt viewer feels for poor ol' Wilf.
All in all, this is a good offering by Netflix. I hope they follow it up with something just as good.
Dread is as good as fear when it comes to the horror genre. And dread is what this makes you feel.
