Movie Critics (823 KP) rated Dunkirk (2017) in Movies
Jul 27, 2017
Nolan maintains gut-wrenching suspense throughout by cross-cutting between the various characters and their plights. I’d go so far to say that Dunkirk could easily serve as its own master class in the art of film editing.

Movie Critics (823 KP) rated The Flash - Season 3 in TV
Aug 5, 2017
In the end, The Flash Season Three is a study in wasted potential and playing to the strengths that built the show, as opposed to pushing the story, characters and actors in new and interesting directions.

MusicCritics (472 KP) rated Rainbow by Kesha in Music
Aug 24, 2017
Instead of dwelling on what isn’t said on the record, she chooses to use her experiences to find the strength to move on. And so we get the most authentic Kesha album yet, and it’s a triumph

Movie Critics (823 KP) rated Ingrid Goes West (2017) in Movies
Aug 12, 2017
Ingrid Goes West heavily explores obsession, stalker behavior, and the need to be noticed, both on social media and in real life. It also touches on the duality of online personas versus the ones we lead in real life.

MusicCritics (472 KP) rated Everything Now by Arcade Fire in Music
Aug 12, 2017
So view Everything Now as a glass half empty due to its inconsistency or as a glass half full of standout singles. You won’t be able to ignore it though, which, in today’s crowded musical landscape, is triumph in itself

MusicCritics (472 KP) rated From a Room, Vol. 1 by Chris Stapleton in Music
Jul 7, 2017
Each track is charming and sturdy and well put together, evidence of an artist who is at the very top of his game and ready to reach even higher. Here’s looking forward to Volume 2.

Bardugo truly brings the fierce Amazon to life! She empowers the other female characters by highlighting all of their different forms of strength that they possess, while also emphasizing that none of those strengths are any less valuable or important

The best Stephen King Podcast out there
The Losers have been reviewing the works, social media and daily exploits of Stephen King since January of 2017. They go more in depth into each work than any other discussion I’ve encountered.
Anthony Trombetta (3 KP) rated Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017) in Movies
Mar 23, 2018
Worth every minute
Billboards plays out like a Chris Stapleton song, there's this raw and unforgiving grit to it throughout. The direction is precise as is the ensemble acting led by Frances Mcdormand. The layers and themes of this film play out beautifully and for me, it was a Top 5 film of 2017. Ending could've been better.
Jeremy King (346 KP) rated Cherry 2000 (1987) in Movies
Jun 22, 2019
Although there are some nice effects, the performances and the utterly ludicrous plot make this movie 5 out of 10. Maybe higher if i rated this in the 80s. What i love is how 2017 was apocalyptic and well the year now is 2019. Lol but i guess in the 80s they thougbt by now we would have WWIII
