OK set location thriller
The trailer looked pretty good. It starts well enough but after a while suffers quite a bit in just being set pretty much in one room of the 911 operators. With most of the performances done purely by a voice over the phone. This doesn't really help in the drama stakes.
Similar in many ways to @The Call (2013) as an 911 operator takes the call of someone who has been abducted and tries his best to track them. But it just loses the intensity around half way through although there are some twists as events unravel.

Great Show!
Entertaining, exciting, lots of potential! So far, I'm hooked on 911! Fueled with a great cast and great plots and storyline, it is quickly becoming one of my favorite shows to watch. Connie Britton & Angela Bassett are fabulous, and the adrenaline junkie in me hates that it is only 60 minute episodes once a week.

I tried to watch this one. I used to be an EMT and I miss the rush and the life so I want to find a good medical drama to satisfy my blood lust for intelligently written, exciting, tv. This is not it. It's painfully fake. I was unable to get through more than a few minutes. Now, I like Rob Lowe. I grew up watching him and the Brat Pack and he's a pretty man so all the girls my age had a crush on him. I really liked him in Aaron Sorkin's The West Wing and Parks and Rec. Rob Lowe does his best acting in a suit. I could not take him seriously as a first responder. I can't even remember if his character is a firefighter, police officer, or EMT in this show. All I know is that I had to tap out after the first few lines.
Perhaps my rating is unfair because I'm basing my judgment with 911 Lonestar being an extension of 911 with the same writing style and situations, and that show has stiff acting, and outrageously fake scenarios. I recently tried to watch 911 due to a draught of medical dramas and I ended up yelling at the tv about all the technical mistakes the EMTs and firefighters were making. I mean, they took an elevator up to an upper floor when the building was unstable and at risk of collapse or having a power outage. It was ridiculous. Who does that? If you are good at suspending belief, maybe you can tolerate this show. But I just can't. Sorry, Rob. See you in my dreams.

How to Build Brick Cars by Peter Blackert a book to build lego models without having to buy the whole lego set. The book has instructions to build a BMW I8, Porsche 911, the Bugatti Veyron, and many other cars. The pictures are clear, the instructions are also clear, concise and easy to understand. There is a good selection of cars to try. Each set of instructions has a list of which pieces are needed. The instructions are not necessarily color specific, so if you don't have blue, then it can be done in red.

HBO unlocked some content during this whole, dramatic time. I was glad they unlocked some documentaries. I've been wanting to watch this documentary, because I haven't gotten to see much on this case.
I liked that they showed the whole relationship, and not just the texts that hit the prosecution's theory of the crime. I think both of these people equally needed help, and were equal to blame. They both needed to be locked up in psych wards. She definitely failed to call 911, but the dude had jerked her around so much, how was she supposed to know that the threat was legit?
Anyway, I'm glad I got to see it.... for free.
