Veronica Pena (690 KP) rated Saving Private Ryan (1998) in Movies

I love war movies and this one is no different. I really enjoyed it. It was a little on the long side but definitely a must-watch. The cast really blew me away. I was not expecting to see so many familiar faces, especially in a movie from over 20 years ago.
I feel like I can't really go into too much detail as to why I like this film without giving things away so I'll just say that this is a great film. Definitely watch it. I hardly think you'll regret it.

Actual rating: 3.5 Stars.
I found this to be an enjoyable, light, fluffy and incredibly random read, it was also absolutely hilarious...I did laugh out loud a few times. Then why only a 3.5 rating you ask? Well...in some places I did get very annoyed with Georgia's attitude, especially towards her parents. I never spoke to my parents the way she did and to be honest I didn't do much of what she and her friends got up to. I thought that yeah it is for teenagers so I should still be able to relate to it as I am only 24, yet I just couldn't relate at all! Maybe it's because I have always been a bit of a tom boy and not a girly girl.
For a light, really silly read pick this one up and give it a try.

By daytime a shy teen but by night he is the shock jock on his pirate radio station. When first seen this i was a teenager and i could empathize with the main character and how i wish i could be like that.

On the edge of my seat!
I thought this book was really quite interesting! A big twist that I didn't see coming, which is quite unusual as I can predict quite well. I couldn't put it down and finished it within a day!

A bit of a personal eye-opener!
This isn’t my usual type of book at all, but I’m glad I read it - very entertaining and fast paced. It did require a bit of concentration with all of the intrigue, back story, twists and turns, but I think I ‘got it’ in the end! I can’t say as I’ve ever really read a book based on espionage before, but thanks to The Pigeonhole (again!) I tried it and I liked it.
