Fun to watch
Mindless easy watch
This film is limited in terms of story - a group of superheroes work together to try to save the world - again. It's action-packed with comedy moments showing how the heroes struggle to work together. I still love Mark Ruffalo the best as the Hulk, because he's not an over actor, even as a giant green hunk of meat. Relaxing watch, don't expect poetic dialogue.

This is the third book in this series by this author. This book has a lot of action packed pages. You are always guaranteed a very hot read with this author. This book also has some suspense parts to it too. Really wanted to hear more from these characters and what there future holds. I can't wait to read more from this author in the future.

A Lovely Family Film
This was an absolutely loving tale of family. The quirky mix of fun and heroics is a wonderful choice to watch with the kids. This is a tale not just about heroes but about finding a family of your own even if its not the one you were born with. I wonderful choice for anyone in search of something to watch for family movie night!

Simply Epic!
After first appearing in the standalone Wolverine film, much to fans ire, he has been given another shot to make right from the first failed attempt at bringing the character to the big screen. Action packed with plenty of fourth wall breakage you can't go wrong! Sorry kids, this is a comic book film for us adults.

Barry Newman (204 KP) rated Captain Marvel (2019) in Movies
Apr 16, 2020
For the first half hour or so I was a little unsure if I liked this as it was a bit slow to get going with some quite muddled plot developments. It did all start to come together though and what followed was a funny action packed ride chock full of amusing 90’s references and music . Brie Larson was likeable and charismatic in the title role and also looked damn foxy in a Nine Inch Nails t-shirt.
Blazing Minds (92 KP) rated Waiting for the Barbarians (2020) in Movies
Nov 1, 2021 (Updated Nov 3, 2021)
In an age of action-packed Hollywood blockbusters it’s a refreshing change to have a movie that you can relax with, Waiting for the Barbarians is very much that sort of film, the opening sequence with its lovely landscape shot as a horse-drawn carriage travels across the arid land to an outpost in the middle of nowhere looks great and this does set us up for the cinematography that persists throughout the film.
