I’ve always been a fan of the literary classics, especially ones that also have an underline meaning to do with the history of the world. George Orwell has always been a favorite of mine, I mean I have a lot of favorites but a true reader usually does! The reason why I finally picked up this book was for a job assignment. I will definitely say, I wasn’t disappointed.

Quality: Good.
Insights: Animal Farm is a very well-written book and if you like a history-related book along with any literary classic books, you’ll love this book! I, myself, have never really been a huge history buff so to me Animal Farm was lacking an interesting plot. If I broke the book down into two sections, there would be half of the book as interesting and half being monotonous.
Ah-Ha Moment: When the animals overtook the farm and the pigs started to act like the humans.
Favorite quote: “Man is the only creature that consumes without producing. He does not give milk, he does not lay eggs, he is too weak to pull the plough, he cannot run fast enough to catch rabbits. Yet he is lord of all the animals. He sets them to work, he gives back to them the bare minimum that will prevent them from starving, and the rest he keeps for himself.” – I really like this because it’s a great representation of humans and earth. How we lack with caring for the planet we live on and that isn’t right.
Aesthetics: The copy that I received had an awesome cartoony cover of the animals which I found quite adorable.

I’m really enjoying these Dark alliance books they are a quick read and easy to fall in love with! I’m enjoying finding more out about the characters as well as seeing characters from the first 2 books! If you enjoy BDB by JR Ward you will enjoy these!

Water Weaver (Wraidd Elfennol #1) by Morgan Sheppard
This book has certainly earned the #Epic tag - at over 600 pages this is a book that you can submerge yourself into. However, it certainly doesn't feel like that amount when you are reading it as the pages almost turn themselves as the story carries you along.
The characters are all well-developed and grow throughout the story as they have to learn how to work together, using and acknowledging their strengths and weaknesses. There are not only the four human main characters, but also we have four animal Life Partners too, who all have their own individual characters and quirks.
With a smooth and flowing pace and a gentle tone, this book is suitable for all ages, with no grammatical errors or spelling mistakes that I noticed. Highly recommended.

Penny Has Another Hairy Case
Penny Lively’s cousin and best friend, Annie Moore, runs the animal clinic in town. Normally, everything flows smoothly there, but trouble is brewing. First, Annie has to fire Nicole, the clinic’s technician, for stealing medicine. Then Annie is caught over the dead body of Brian, her business partner. Naturally, the police start looking at Annie as their prime suspect, but Penny knows her cousin better than that. Brian was such a nice guy; who would want to kill him?
It is so wonderful to be back in the town of Cypress Cove. The characters are a lot of fun, and I enjoyed seeing some relationships grow here. The new characters are just as strong. The plot is good, although the pacing is a little off in the second half. Still, things come together for a strong climax. I really felt like I was transported to the area. Penny, her town, and her vineyard were brought to wonderful life.

Scared the sh*t out of me

What's it about?
Alex is a young carer for his father who has resorted to burglary to pay his way. He and his two friends decide to hit the house of a blind man who is sitting on a potential $300k so they can give up crime for good. What they get however is a deadly surprise.
Is it scary?
Gripping, tense and suspenseful. Stephen Lang is on top form.
What were the best bits?
If you ever want to see a man embody a murderous animal then this is for you.The way in which Silence is used to build tension is fantastic. The sense of dread for these helplessly out matched burglars is terrifying. All I'll say is "the pitch black scene"
How does it compare to other horrors?
It's right up there with the best

A beautiful game with lackluster rewards
I loved spending hours in this game watching the scenery from horseback, waiting for the virtual animal I was hunting to show up, and discovering new and fascinating places. It carried the game well for a while, but once I finished the main plot, there wasn't much else that held my attention. I completed the master hunter challenges to get a different holster skin? Seems a bit weak to entice people to try to complete challenges. When you can buy some of the more impressive game items in the shops; holsters, belts, and jackets are just a weak enticement at best.
Rockstar usually does a good job of balancing the purchasable items from the earned items in games, but this one seemed an afterthought. If this was better, it would have been the best game I'd ever played.
