A beautiful movie about love, honour, value of every living creature and importance of nature. Great story, acting, visual effects and animations. Nothing bad can be said about this movie. It is good in every way.

Considering my first STP novel was Night Watch, this was a beautiful introduction to Vimes and Co. It really sat well with him, and had just about ever facet of a good action movie found in a novel.

Taylor portrays an unimaginable circumstance, being stranded on an island, with beautiful writing and an intriguing subplot. The sisters are very believable though I found it difficult to like Henri most of the time.

I loved this movie. Probably a lot more than a lot of people. And that's ok. I thought it was masterfully done. Everything was beautiful, and you got a lot more twists and turns than you normally would.

"A spiritual manifesto as well as a heartbeakingly beautiful read, this book explores themes of gender, the oppression of women and queers in the old west and is an intense portrayal of the power of the human spirit."

"It’s hard for Bacon's arresting paintings to be contained in a book, but I have always found the palette and the analysis in this book to be a very comprehensive portrait of Bacon's aggressive, personal and beautiful work."

"Love, according to this film, is close to death. Theresa Russell is raw and beautiful, and the film is full of symbols, of heartaches, of obsessions—Harvey Keitel’s, Art Garfunkel’s. Like a Schiele painting, which is high praise."

". . . because it was so disturbing and beautiful at the same moment. Photographed by Sven Nykvist, whose work came the closest to John Alcott’s brilliant use of available light. Alcott photographed my films Overlord, Little Malcolm, and The Disappearance."
