One of the best television series of the last 10 years and already one of my favourites..Everything from the intro with it's 1980s retro font and music theme tune, to the great acting, especially the child actors and the overall concept is fantastically realised. A great homage to a my favourite decade and the second series is eagerly anticipated..

A film everyone needs to watch at least twice
This is, hands down, my favorite movie of all time. There are several reasons, but to name a few:
1. The big reveal was fresh in 1999. A twist that made you immediately want to watch the movie over again.
2. The story is an amazing and unique idea only a brilliant author could ever manifest. (Chuck Palahniuk)
3. The soundtrack, cinematography, and editing was practically perfect
4. The pace of the film is spot on and the characters are well rounded and portrayed
5. Just see it if you haven't

Flawless Drama
This show doesn't need a long review - it's too perfect. Too funny. Too clever. the chemistry between James Spader and William Shatner as Alan and Denny respectively draws you in and makes you wish they were your buddies, that you could hang out with them on the penthouse office balcony, talking philosophically about life with a cigar in one hand and a fine scotch whiskey in the other. The cast is superb and the writing brilliant...Thank you David E Kelly et al.

Addictive
I decided to give this a watch after seeing it advertised non stop on sky Atlantic. I wasn't sure what to expect from the show but I was pleasantly surprised. The calibre of acting on display is phenomenal. The story line is brilliant and although i had already guessed the twist at the end I couldn't stop watching. I know there has been word of a second series but i honestly don't know what they would do with it and kind of wish they would just leave it at 1 season

Almost perfect selection
This would have received the full ten stars if it didn't include Margaret Thatcher and play down the anti-Semitism shown by Nancy Astor.
Absolutely brilliant otherwise, incredibly informative and interesting - and while I did think for a while there was a heavy influence from the Suffragette circle - I believe it was still well deserved. Hats off to Jenni Murray for bringing many of these hidden women to the forefront. And while there was a lack of women of colour, it seems to be the general standpoint for now that they too are invisible.

Great film
Mark Wahlberg is a strange actor. He's turned out some brilliant films (The Departed) and some awful ones (Transformers). Fortunately this not one of the latter.
I knew little about the aftermath and investigation into the Boston marathon bombing, so I found this to be very fascinating and interesting, but tense and harrowing at the same time. It's not a pleasant topic, but it was handled very well. My only issue would be that Mark Wahlberg's character wasn't real, but then I do understand why they've done this to have a central point in a tale of lots of multiple narratives.

Great prequel to Silence of the Lambs
This star-studded film is a brilliant sequel / prequel to Silence of the Lambs, unlike the other films in the franchise. It's not overly gory and it focuses on character development. The plot is well-done and the acting is superb. Of course Anthony Hopkins, Ralph Fiennes, Emily Watson and Edward Norton get a special mention. It's a dark tale about a forensic detective attempting to trace a serial killer who has a penchant for murdering whole families all the while 'transforming' into the Red Dragon.

The best Disney Pixar franchise ever
I love this film, and I'm not afraid to admit it. It's beautiful, heartwarming and utterly amusing to watch. I still remember seeing it the first time and being completely mesmerised by the new style graphics. And the story was an update from the usual Brothers Grimm fairy tales , modernised for its young viewers living in the 1990s. Woody and Buzz have the best partnership on screen, and it's one of those rare trilogies where every single film was brilliant. Massive kudos to Disney Pixar.

I was a little behind the times with this one and was worried it would not live up to the hype. It did in some respects but Oscar worthy? I don't think so. Frances McDormand is brilliant as was Harrelson and their characters were so well developed that you completely connected with them.
What I didn't understand was why the man came to the shop and started abusing Mildred when, it turned out later, that he was nothing to do with it? It was a fly in the soup for me and has annoyed and bothered me ever since!

Intriguing story and characters
Bold and Brilliant
Usually, I give a brief synopsis when giving a review, but this movie is best experienced if you know very little of what to expect.
In Heath Ledger's very last performance, which he was filming around the time that he passed away, this true gem will leave you dazzled and in complete awe of the world at which these wonderful characters live in.
Just try not to guess what may happen, but lose yourself in the experience of this true visual masterpiece.
