For the most part? Literal human torture. Screening this to the public should be outlawed. The type of movie where the credits roll at barely an hour and fifteen minutes but halfway through it feels like centuries have passed since the last time you saw the light of day. Salma Hayek and Jennifer Coolidge are - naturally - perfect, but the rest of this cast flounders around non-starter jokes that'd be tired even in 2013 ("hey look a dick lol", "hey look weed lol") with no chemistry to even make it a passable diversion. Also it looks like pure cardboard ass, you'd think this guy has never directed a movie before in his life. I particularly admire Haddish's career path of being really good in one thing and then just repeating that shtick with no alterations ad nauseum in a bunch of shit films until it's six feet under and no longer tolerable, let alone enjoyable (everyone should be legally obligated to say sike right now for panning 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘒𝘪𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘯 where she gives her most optimized, feverishly fiery and nuanced work that no one saw). If you think the title is cringy and outdated (one: you're right) then I can assure you the movie itself is moreso.

Cool Science Fiction Flick
Old Movie Revisited: The Machine. This was a pretty sweet movie! A way to describe it is part: Terminator prequel; Caprica; RoboCop; Species; Blade Runner; Universal Soldier... I think I could name a few more but, I'll stop there. So as you can tell its not an overly original story but was presented well. It's the story of Vincent, played by Toby Stephens(his celebrity mash up would be Michael Fassbender and Damian Lewis) who's a scientist dude, and he creates the world's first self aware cyborg in the form of super hot Ava, played by super hot Caity Lotz(with those eyes she had better play vampire at some point!). Of course the gov't wants The Machine for war, and Vincent wants to save his little dying girl... Who will win, where does that leave Ava and her sexy ass-kicking ways?? You'll have to watch to find out! If you dug any of those movies above I'd say check it out!! It is not an explosive all out destruction of man kind action movie, just a cool robot awakens movie, with a hot blonde kicking soldiers asses, and walking around nude, thank you Caity! Oh, My friggin god !!!! I'm not quite sure where to start with this review, perhaps with a disclaimer that if you have a weak constitution maybe put this book down now as the Red is likely to give you a bleeding heart attack with its dubiously delectable content.
ME!!! well, bring on the coronary because this book man, what a way to go!!
But seriously if you're easily offended or a bit of a novice to the erotica genre, you might want to start your journey with something a little less hard-core, as The Red Is not a novel with romantic lovey-Dovey phrases or lame-ass cliches.
It was so refreshing that it called a spade a spade!!!
no cutesy words, just plain tell it as it is loved that.
This for me was one of the biggest reasons this gets a big smokin thumbs up from me.
and I can honestly say I have never quite read anything like this before, The Red has an almost mythical surreal quality to some of its happenings, with its play on famous works of art and nymphs and minotaurs.
I hadn't had the delight of experiencing Tiffany Reisz's work before so this was a first for me, First but will not be the last time now I have discovered the voice of this unique author.
The Red's Storyline is simple, Mona Lisa St James needs to save her late mother's Art Gallery and she's practically broke.
Enter Malcolm her mysterious saviour who offers to pay Mona in very expensive art in return for carte-blanche when it comes to her body.
whatever he wishes, he gets, once a month for a year, after that he will disappear from her life forever and Mona will have the means to save the gallery.
The tale then takes us through every encounter, each one different, some more depraved than others but each encounter will make you squirm with its lack of modesty and the sheer corruption in Malcolm's every action.
I loved the way the story unfolded and I would say this was more of a delicious debasement than a romance, a debasement that our girl Mona embraced and welcomed wholeheartedly as The Red draws to its inevitable conclusion.
It's quite obvious to the reader that Malcolm has a hidden agenda which becomes more apparent to Mona as the story unfolds
Quite frankly hidden agendas, in my opinion, are all well and good but honestly, I was just counting the seconds to Mona and Malcolm's next session Take 1, Take 2 Take 3 could go on and on here sigh.
Well anyway, I really enjoyed The Red and would happily recommend it to my fellow perverts all that's left is for me to profusely thank the publisher and NetGalley for allowing me to read an advanced reader copy of this novel by Tiffany Reisz, this is an unbiased reflection of said novel.

my fav of the series!
Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian, I was gifted my copy of this book.
And just like that, back up to 5 full stars AND it's single point of view!
I LOVED this instalment of these hockey players, I really did.
Kye returns home after retiring from professional hockey with two things on his agenda.
Look after his grandad, Dunny.
And get his man back, David.
First one is fairly easily sorted but the second one? Not so much. David is, even after 20 years, angry with Kye. So angry for leaving him, but more so for not even coming home in all that time, not ONCE. David would have had a long distance relationship, but Kye was still in the closet and did not want to ruin his career. Leaving Davey all that time ago killed Kye, but now he is on a mission to get his man back. Will David as he likes to be called, want him, though?
Kye is very vocal about many things, but the biggest thing he has a say about is his regret for leaving David and not coming home. He needs David to understand, even after all this time, he LOVES David, deep within his soul and he just needs a chance to prove that.
There follows a delightful tale of a man on a mission, a woo-ing mission, to get his man back and Kye does it so beautifully! He can see David giving in, with the little twitches of a smile, the sparkle in his eye, the way he wants to go slow about kills Kye, but he knows he has to play David's game if he really has any sort of chance.
Only Kye has a say, yes, I know, but his voice is strong, and fills in all the gaps that David NOT having a voice leaves. David manages to get his point across, though.
I didn't find it as explicit as a couple of the others, but it's not missed. This is more about the LOVE between these two men, rather than that sex.
Some difficult reading about the poachers and what David, as a wildlife conservation officer finds, but I think that probably is needed, to explain a lot of how David feels about his job and what he has to deal with on a day to day basis.
Also, Dunny, Kye's grandfather, is ailing in body and mind, and that is also difficult reading, but extremely well written and absolutely needed.
Arn pops up, and I loved the little digs to Kye about the other couples in this series, I really did! Made me chuckle, what Arn comes out with! Kye had no clue what he was talking about, though, and it shows that there really is no link between the series bar Arn and the colour theme.
Who's next? No idea, but please, keep these guys coming!

The Game RPG Die hards have been waiting for
The first thing I can think of to say is WOW. Fans of this franchise have been waiting for a very long time for this entry in the Shin Megami Tensei universe. I, as a long time fan SMT, absolutely adore this game.
To really play this game and to get the full grasp of this game expect to put at least 150 hours into the initial game play. Persona 5 does have a new game plus which opens up other options and avenues for players to choose. Seriously though, my first play through was 153 hours. Plan to spend a lot of time in this universe.
That being sad, don't be scared! The game is visually stunning and the story line is unique and highly involved. You have character relationships, jobs, and side missions.
There is a heavy time management quality to this game. You make the choices to work, hang out, or go to the dungeon. The best way to state what Persona 5 is this: Time Management + Dating Simulator + Dungeon Crawler.
As the story progresses, so do the relationships you choose to grow. The main character will make a relationship with people the represent the major arcana tarot cards (so, 20+ relationships to juggle!) From there you get missions to save people from themselves. Some of these are accomplished in the major dungeons (7 overall), while the rest are in the peoples dungeon.
I love every aspect of this game. I had high hopes going into it and ATLUS did not disappoint.

Batman Begins
I wanted to wait until I had watched the series finale to do a full review of the whole show. I can honestly say that in my opinion this is tied with Game of Thrones for the greatest TV show ever made...telling the story of a pre Batman Gotham this show focuses on James Gordon's rise from GCPD detective to Captain and eventual police Commissioner. It also tracks Bruce Wayne's journey from young child who sees his parents gunned down to crime fighting vigilante...what makes this show so good is its attention to detail in the shows characters in particular the villains. We get versions of the classics like penguin, riddler & scarecrow but it's the inclusion of lesser known villains like professor pyg, Solomon grundy & azreal that means theres something for fans of the comics as well as casual viewers. There really aren't any bad series and also no really bad episodes. All the stuff with the mad hatter gets a little slow but that might just be coz I didnt like the character - but maybe that's the point as hes not supposed to be likeable!!!...it all builds to a crescendo in the last season where sometimes so TV shows fall down trying to tie a bow round everything. In Gotham the wait pays off and it the ending feels like watching for all those seasons has paid off...simply put this is not just for comic nerds, it is a quality TV programme the likes of which we may not see again for a while. WATCH THIS SHOW!!!
