Powerful story
This movie is so powerful, whether you believe in God and faith or not. To see his dedication to his faith and God, even at the risk of his own life, it is just awe-inspiring, and then at the end finding out it was based on a true story is just incredible! I am a Christian and I cannot wait to meet him when I get to heaven.

There is a part of me that is really drawn to these books. I think its the storyline itself. The writing on the other hand needs something. Between Ana, her inner goddess, and her subconscience, I was really starting to get sick of her. And I kept picturing Christian Grey like this <img src="http://www.eonline.com/eol_images/Entire_Site/2010108/300.fifty.lc.110810.jpg">; whenever she called him Fifty!!

Never looked at business cards the same again.
American Psycho is one of the best Psychological Thrillers, Black Comedies, and Horror movies to date. Christian Bale plays Patrick Bateman so well that even though he is a psychopath you just can't help but like the guy even though you kind of want to punch him in the face at the same time.

Definitely, add this to your need to watch list.

In 1871, Kaitlin Riggs finds herself having to care for her brother and sister. The trio land in Santa Rosa, California where she meets Marshall Riggs. She isn't at all interested in the man even though he falls for her at first site. This is a predictable but fun Christian romance.

The Branning Family has found themselves stuck in the suburbs with no modern convinces. The entire world has been hit, and nothing electric works. But even worse, there's a killer in their neighborhood. This Christian novel grabbed me, and I loved it. Unfortunately, the characters were a bit shallow.

I haven't read this book in over 10 years but it's one of those that sticks with you. There is another book that goes with it called "Piercing The Darkness". Both are amazing books about spiritual warfare. Even if you are not a Christian I think you'd still like this book. It is full of action that has battles between angels and demons and a good story to it.

Remains one of my favorite movies in any genre.
No, I didn't watch the ridiculous TV reboot or the short-lived Broadway show, nor will I. The original holds up just fine with its commentary on society and political correctness. Christian Slater does some of his best work, and Winona Ryder can do no wrong. Plus, baby Shannen Doherty! (she's just 17 here!)

An absolute classic in my book.

Very original

I usually don't read contemporary Christian romance because it seems to always follow the same storyline. But this book intrigued me even from reading the description. It really has a lot of unexpected twists and I really like how Carol follow through with the characters lives even after they got married (not very many books do that, they usually lead up to falling in love and getting married).

Just because you've never murdered anyone doesn't mean you aren't still sinning every day. This book looks at some sins that Christian ignore in their own lives (envy, anger, worry, impatience), shows exactly why they are sin, and challenges us to confess and repent. This is a powerful book that will convict you. Pick it up today.

This is the autobiography of VeggieTales creator Phil Vischer. It tells the story of the rise and fall of the Christian video franchise and the lessons he learned from it. As a fan of the series, it was great to learn what happened. The book was well written, challenging, and highly entertaining.
