A decent straight to DVD thriller/horror as a young woman recounts the events on a small island over a weekend, which led to the deaths of her friends. There are a few familiar faces in this, and the production value is pretty good for a low budget film. It has a decent plot with a few, fairly predictable twists, but still enjoyable fun nevertheless. More thriller than blood n guts horror, but it kinda just makes it into the slasher category. A movie about gamers in a virtual world.
A film about gamers in a virtual world, I was gonna love this film from the start being a gamer and reality escapist myself. It didnt disappoint.

Now I just cant wait for this kind of technology to hit the masses and I will then be in bliss. Or should i say Oasis ;).

Also enjoyed it that much I bought it on dvd today.

"I first saw Wanda when I was in Paris making a movie and a cinephile friend of mine told me I had to see it, so I found a DVD of it, but I’ve still never seen it projected. When I was making Invisible Life, I was looking at films like it as a way to build my characters. I was very inspired by Barbara Loden’s performance and the drifting aspect of that character, who was very similar to one of the women in my film."
