Disney tv movie can't remember if it was a wonderful world of Disney or a Disney channel movie based on the tower of terror ride. It is the anniversary of the disappearance of kid actor Sally shine and 4 other people who disappeared when lightning hit the Hollywood tower hotel. Disgraced reporter buzzy played by Steve Guttenberg gets a visitor and decided to go there to take a story with his niece played by Kristen dunst. Is the story true, are there ghosts, evil forces, or nothing but dust in this tower only watching it will you find out. A little cheesy but good Disney fare.

Classic Halloween Disney Movie
This movie is so good. If you like movies that give you 90's nostalgia with all little bit of tame creepiness, This movie is for you. The three witches are so hilarious, and the child acting isn't half-bad. Yes, it is sometimes cringy, but if you like those old cringy Disney Channel kind of movies, I definitely recommend you give this a watch.

Stumbled across one of these on a general You Tube cruise and became quite hooked. Great questions you probaly did not want an answer to, thoughrely researched and broken down into funny and digestible chunks.
Always giving a spoiler warning, so subject is off limits, so weather you want to know your odds of surviving the Hunger Games, or which Disney film has the highest body count, this is the channel for you.

Just watched the first two episodes on Disney plus thru star there adult section and so far so good it's on the short side just over half an hour per episode could have been longer extra ten mins that's my only complaint. On two the show itself all three leads are Brilliant especially martin and short who've been working together for so they have great chemistry just comic timing and there's selena gomez finally doing something more adult than those disney channel type shows she's used to doing. Overall I shall be watching this everyweek to find out who the is as well. Also I'm just as bad when it comes to listening to podcasts I like on occasion to listen to true crime podcast aswell

Rise of the Isle of the Lost is the third book in the Descendants series, a collection of books about the kids of the most infamous Disney villains. It is based on the Disney Channel Original Movie by the same name and Rise occurs just before the events of the second movie. It follows the villain kids Mal, Evie, Jay and Carlos in Auradon, as well as Uma and her pirate crew on the Isle of the Lost.

The book is a middle school reading level, so it is very simply written. I wasn't particularly impressed with the story or the writing, although the book was enjoyable enough. I chose to read it because I am a fan of Disney and found the premise to be intriguing. The execution was underwhelming, but I feel that younger readers would really enjoy this book. It is perfect for those in grades five to seven. I would recommend it to those that are fans of the movie and suggest that you read it before seeing the second movie, as that is where it falls chronologically.

I love the selection of old & new TV/films & the option to stream disney channel live. The music selection is good & I love that the new soundtracks appear quickly. (0 more)
The option to make a playlist would be so useful. Also sometimes things are a little clunky & don't work as smoothly as other apps. Some films/TV shows take a while to appear on there after release. (0 more)
This app is life!
It's a great app & I love the easy access to all things Disney! As a huge fan of the films, tv & music there is so much to get my teeth into & I love rewatching old favourites. There are a few gaps- things that haven't appeared on there yet, but I'm hoping they'll keep adding to the old library of 90s cartoons! I just wish that new film/TV was more up to date with the releases on other mediums.

Completely uninteresting
Mulan (2020) is the live action adaptation of the 1998 Disney animation of the same name, the latest in the live action remakes of Disney classics based on a young woman who disguises herself as a male soldier to save her father.

I’ll start with an admission: I’ve never seen the original animated Mulan. Despite being an avid Disney fan, growing up living and breathing everything Disney, somehow as an eleven year old when it was first released Mulan just passed me by, and has carried in doing so in the 20+ years since. Unlike the other live action Disney remakes in which I had so many preconceptions and so much love for the originals, I went into Mulan entirely open and with no expectations. This I hoped would prove to be a benefit when watching this remake, however I’m afraid to say that it actually may have put me at even more of a disadvantage.

The biggest issue with this film is that is entirely lacking in everything you’d usually expect from an animated Disney film and what I don’t doubt is present in the 1998 original. Disney films are full of heart, laughter, cutesy creatures and catchy songs whilst with an underlying serious plot with more menace and threat than you’d expect. This remake appears to have removed everything you know and love about Disney and replaced it with a very serious, very drawn out and actually quite dull plot. Yes there is still the good message in here that hopefully will motivate young women, but it’s lost behind a film that is severely lacking in any really spirit or character.

Yifei Liu does well as Mulan, at least with what she’s given to work with as far as the script goes. However she really suffers with the romance side, as there is zero chemistry between Mulan and Honghui, even with Yoson An’s charismatic performance. Jet Li is barely recognisable as the Emperor and Donnie Yen really needed to channel more of his Rogue One character to lighten the mood. Even the villains, Bori Khan (Jason Scott Lee) and Xianniang (Li Gong) have little to work with, with Xianniang’s witch being let down by the most by the poor writing and character development.

The cast however aren’t really at fault here. The film looks good, the sets and costumes are impressive and everything feels lush and colourful. However I felt the action scenes had been so obviously ‘Disney-fied’ that they lost all sense of fun and, well, action. They felt over choreographed and with the large amount of fight scenes in this, the lack of proper violence and blood was far too obvious. And the over-used slow motion alongside some questionable CGI was unbearable. Considering they wanted to make this a more accurate and serious Disney adaptation, it’s a shame they didn’t go far enough to make the action a little more adult.

I really wanted to like this, but for me it was just severely deficient in anything that makes a Disney film likeable. Had I seen the original, it may have at least brought some form of love and nostalgia. However all this has succeeded in doing is making me want to watch the original, both as a comparison and for some much needed fun and laughter.

Grows On You
I have very mixed feelings about this film. When I first started watching I hated all of it, the costumes were childlike, the acting mediocre, and the music didnt not transition well throughout the film.
So I watched it a second time with my newborn daughter (she likes musicals and I had nothing else in the house). She fell asleep instantly but that's beside the point. The second time watching I started to enjpy the music a little bit more, the transitions were terrible but the music itself wasn't bad. The acting also didnt seem as bad though I began to notice that Will Smith overshadowed the main characters as his acting alone read to be far superior. He dominated majority of the scenes, which wasn't a bad thing as he seemed to be the only one going above and beyond.
However I'm sad to say that even as the film proves to grow on you little by little I'd still have to say that it read to be more of a Disney Channel Movie rather than an actual Big Picture Film. Certainly didn't hold to the quality or standard that Disney demands of it's Main Features, especially one of the one's meant to be a part of their Princess Film Collection.

Edouard Cours' take on Herakles is more than worth it. Notably different than the Hercules you are used to seeing on the Disney Channel, Herakles is meant for the adult reader as it follows the mythos. With nudity and the humor to match, this is probably not something you would want you kids to get a hold of, but oh boy should YOU! Just the artwork alone is incredible. the colors were dark and gritty in a good way, helping set the tone for the comic and giving you a sense of how Herakles sees his world.

The story is done well, taking the legend that is Herakles and adding to it. The language used is modern, which makes this an easier read, though you can go pages at a time here and not see a single word and still have the story progress.

Personally, I really liked this film. It was funny, the plot moved quickly, the characters were sound and the twist wasn't as noticeable as I originally thought. I am glad I didn't see it in theaters, but I'm glad I watched it overall. I wasn't disappointed. Kristin Stewart's Sabina was probably my favorite character. I thought Sam Claflin was hilarious, though he never fails to make me laugh. Naomi Scott first came on my radar when she was in Lemonade Mouth on the Disney Channel and I loved that film and have loved her since so to see her in a film like this, with a great cast, female-led, directed by a female, I was extremely happy.

This is definitely not a film to make you think, to make you ask questions, nothing deep. It's definitely a fun movie that you can just throw on and not have to work too hard to follow. I really enjoyed it, so take that for what it's worth.
