"Obviously the Godfather films are what they are — some of the best written and directed films in history, you know; the best performances I’ve ever seen by the greatest ensemble cast probably ever in the history of cinema. Some of the best art direction, best lighting, best cinematography, I mean — all of it."

Overall, Spicer has gathered a fantastic ensemble of actors, their chemistry leaping off the screen and making for a hugely enjoyable watch. For every Instagram persona, there’s always much more than meets the eye, and Ingrid proves exactly that.

Worth every minute
Billboards plays out like a Chris Stapleton song, there's this raw and unforgiving grit to it throughout. The direction is precise as is the ensemble acting led by Frances Mcdormand. The layers and themes of this film play out beautifully and for me, it was a Top 5 film of 2017. Ending could've been better.

Great world building
One of my all-time favourite books
This book is one of my all time favourites, I love how character driven it is. I'm a huge fan of ensemble casts, and the crew here were great to read about. I love the vast universe created in this book, especially all the alien species and cultures.

Some would say this is among Stallone's finest performance's as he plays against type in this slow burning thriller which gives him room to actually act and react as the partially deaf cop.
The ensemble cast is also full of great actors, this film is worthy of your time if only to see the other side of of a well established action star.

"Great performances from a great ensemble of actors. Jonathan Demme did such a great job of making that look so real, creating an atmosphere that felt very immediate. It’s a funny film, but it’s scary as hell in parts. And it’s a completely unpredictable movie, I think. There’s no expectation, as you go into that film, what to expect or where it’s going."

"Jack Nicholson is extraordinary in it, but that is an ensemble movie where everyone carries the story. And it’s a movie about social injustice and inequity and the disenfranchised, and it will kill you. It will sway you with its sadness, but in a way that is appropriate, and there is a glimmer of hope at the end, I would say."

This, I think, was my first Marvel movie experience and spawned what has turned into somewhat of a superhero obsession. It's not the best Marvel film I've seen, but as a superhero ensemble film, it holds up well against other Avengers films and over DC ensembles. Easy to follow even without prior background of Marvel characters. It's helpful, but you can follow along without.

"I cannot stop watching this film. I’ve tried. Yet Wes Anderson has created a fairy-tale world that is so timeless and awkwardly comfortable. Bill Murray and Jason Schwartzman portray one of the most endearing duos in years, with an ensemble of memorable characters surrounding them. Full of hilarious dialogue, a pristine song score, and Anderson’s imaginative eye—this will restore anyone’s faith in American independent filmmaking."

Deserving Best Picture Winner
I'm so happy that this film won the Best Picture Oscar, it is by the far the best film I saw in 2015 and deserves every accolade thrown at it. It has a fantastic ensemble cast, and despite the sombre and depressing subject matter, still comes across as an excellent film. It might be difficult to watch, but it's a brilliant telling of a true story.
