Great retelling but kind of ruined one of my favorite villains
All in all I did actually enjoy this movie I love that they gave all the characters really great and interesting backgrounds and played around with the whole whole really a villain theme.

The one thing that I really found that I wasn't a big fan of with how they changed one of my favorite villains of all time. Maleficent was always such a great villain because she literally cursed child because they simply didn't invite her to a party it was one of my favorite things about her and while I did enjoy this version of her I still miss the just flat-out evil that she was in the original cartoon version.

"Normally if a movie doesn’t have a monster in it, I’m not interested. All I like are horror movies; but I don’t like slasher movies. To me, just seeing people getting hurt, that’s not entertaining to me. My favorite things of all time, they have to have a supernatural element to them, and there has to be a sense of romance to them, and an otherworldly quality that makes you feel like there’s more magic in life. A MUST WATCH!!!
The original is my favorite Disney movie so I was nervous this retelling would never fill its shoes but it did. Absolutely beautiful. 'Evermore' makes me tear up every time.

This is one of my favorite series, and I think it should have ended differently. I'm very upset with the ending actually. It's a solid conclusion but it is very upsetting and unfulfilling.
