Good cast chemistry
Who ya gonna call?
Well this caused a stir among the Fanboys. I really like the original but not so much I don't think anyone should make another Ghostbusters film. Some didn't like the idea of an all female team this time round, who cares? From the director of @Spy (2015) , @The Heat (2013) @Bridesmaids (2011) , along with some cast members from the latter. This had a good comedy team involved. It's not great, the humour is more on the silly and slapstick side, a bit crude at times as well. The Cgi and ghost designs were pretty good, if a little cartoonish. Almost like something out of Scooby-Doo. Something that makes me feel this was aimed a young audience and not really fans of the original. It has some nice cameos but overall it's an average film. Watch and make your own mind up.
I was so excited to read Nine Dragons, because I love a good crime thriller and had read such good reviews for it. It didn’t disappoint. I was drawn into Harry Bosch’s world and mind right away. The plot keeps you guessing and sitting on the edge of your seat. The dialogue is lively and funny, the writing was good, and the reader was excellent in narration, voices of the characters, and speed at which he read. This is not a title to be missed.
Nine Dragons is book 14 in the Harry Bosch series, but it makes an excellent stand-alone. Only occasionally did I feel “left out of the loop” so to speak. Everything that was necessary to understand the book was explained.
Content: A reader should go into a crime thriller expecting some language. There was some language in the book but it wasn’t too overused. As far as gruesome details, it wasn’t hard to read. I wouldn’t let a kid read it, though.
Recommendation: Ages 16+

The backing story
Had to be reinvented with a new name for the publicity
So with a story of an alien invasion in which a low tanker soldier finds himself dying but waking up the day previous every time he dies. Hence the name of the film. The film should have been really good, given that you have Hollywood superstar Tom cruise and is supported by Oscar nominee emiky blunt. But instead, the film falls short.
They spend a lot of time off of the battle field and in training and you see a lot of talking and very minimal action. The backing story for me is really good, or has the potential for it being really good. Spending most of there time running or talking in the film, cruise and blunt deliver there lines with perfect execution and I really feel that the film is let down by the writers imagination and the direction given in this film. I'd of given a higher rating if it was just that little bit more on the edge of your seat action.

This movie is odd for me. It's seen as a cult classic and a 'must watch' but when I watched it I found myself extremely disappointed.
It's not that the movie is bad, don't get me wrong it's not... But it's so hyped up that you can't help but feel disappointed when the gore level is low and so is the kill count.
Be that as it may it is a good movie. The acting is decent, the plot is good and the characters are memorable. It's also greatly improved for any serial killer nerds like myself when you see all of the connections to Ed Gein throughout the movie and Leatherface being inspired by him. Not to mention the respect you gain for the cast and crew when you see the filming conditions they had to put up with.
So yeah, this movie is good and any horror fan should watch it at least once but..... Don't get your hopes up for a full on blood bath.

Good story, if a little dull
I’ve always found Oscar winners to be a bit hit and miss, and the majority are never quite as good as the accolades seem to suggest. Sadly for me Moonlight falls into this category.
You can’t fault the acting, everyone in this is truly fantastic. The story itself is fairly unique and the structure of it focusing on the same character at three different times in his life is a smart move. The problem with this film though is that is comes across as a bit dull and boring. While the basic premise is interesting and there are some good scenes, the full story seems to suffer and I’m actually quite glad I didn’t see this at the cinema as I can imagine sitting there quite bored. There is also an unexplained disappearance of a character which is really quite strange, and I find the evolution and development (or lack thereof) of the main character a little disappointing. It’s frustrating when you don’t feel that a character has really changed, especially in a coming of age story.

Twilight is long gone!
400. Good Time. This is a good one! We meet Connie, a low life criminal with a smooth talent manipulating people. Today he's an incredible jerk and brings his mentally challenged brother, Nick, with him to a bank heist. The job actually goes over pretty smoothly, until police randomly ask them a few questions when spotted walking on the street. Nick can't handle the pressure and bolts, and promptly gets caught and sent to jail, Connie escapes. Now Connie desperately needs to get his brother bailed out, coming up 10 grand short for bail, he goes through a series of events to raise the money fast, including an ill fated jail break! Robert Pattinson was awesome as Connie, have really liked his stuff since leaving Twilight behind! Fast paced, exciting story, that makes you feel for Connie, also makes you want to punch him in the face!! Has a cool 80's synthesizer soundtrack to it. Panic makes a good movie tone. My Safe Haven is the 12th and final book in the Lyrics of Love series and finally, FINALLY, Jace finds his girl. Unfortunately for him, Jenna is a bit more skittish about being with him than he would like but she does have her reasons. Reasons which come out with time throughout the book and are heart-breaking.
This was a great story with a gentle, hot, and supportive main male and a feisty but slightly broken main female. I loved how Jace didn't rush her in any way and let her make her own mind up. She is running for good reasons but will she learn to run to Jace?
This was a great finale to the series, with plenty of cameos from previous couples. A feel-good story to end on which I have no hesitation in recommending.
