Director George Clooney turns an old Coen brothers script into a lightly sneaky 1950s cousin to 'Fargo,' starring Matt Damon as an entertainingly scuzzy suburban scoundrel.

The ambitious debut from 21 Savage features some of the best producers around, but the young rapper doesn't have the finesse to break out beyond his horror-film style.

I am new to this thing so trying to learn how it goes. I would like some input on a film. Dark Tower, is it worth renting? I have heard mixed reviews so not sure if I should just wait on Netflix or Amazon. What do you ppl think?

It also depends on whether you've read the books. If you have, then definitely don't bother with the film.

My other half enjoyed the film, but he's never read the books and he has bad taste.

Well yes I have read the books and really enjoyed them. I kind of figured the movie wouldn't do the books any justice cus very seldomly they do. Looks like I will be waiting on Netflix. Thanks for the info guys...gal lol.

Realistic battle scenes
The German 1917
Spotted this on Netflix and saw good reviews so tried it out. Didn't realise it was a German film but the dubbed audio wasn't distracting.
It's a great film, the battle scenes are up there with @1917 (2020) and @Saving Private Ryan (1998) in terms of scope and realism. One of the best World War One films. Check it out.

It’s probably best to keep any expectations low, because despite its flaws, the film proves to be more satisfying and gripping than it seems on the surface. Life is appropriately more tense than it is funny

A great character drama
An odd titled film I knew little about before seeing other than great reviews and highly rated performances from the lead actors.
It's gripping, dark, sad and quite often funny in a dark way. Raising some very relevant topics in society at present. Believe the hype!

Generally it not have good reviews in the press but it is an enjoyable film and shows what money can buy. Meryl Streep is a good singer so be able to sing off key all the time shows how good she is as it is difficult to do. Have watched several times.

Ok seems I missed something here?? This film has great reviews but I found it very slow and the fights are far to quick, barely fights at all. I don't know of the other Zatoichi films this was inspired by but this felt like a film made 30 years ago. Some of the scenes become very boring and repetitive along with minimal dialogue. The end fight is good but it's a long slow numb build up to it!

I thought it was quite average given the hype.
