Dec 28, 2017
Out of the entire Shakespeare canon, I found this to be the most difficult to get through. The Tempest deals with huge themes, like slavery and freedom, heaven and hell, and purgatory. It's a masterpiece, but I had to read it 3 times.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. It was much better than the last one I read by Condie, the plot kept my attention, and I found the main character, Rio, likeable and interesting. I'm also thrilled that it was a standalone!
