Frecklesxoxo (6 KP) rated My Best Friend's Exorcism in Books
Feb 27, 2019
I Received an ARC copy from netgalley for an open and honest review.
I love love love this book, it really is about friendship, love, adolescence, experimentation and of course possession.
There were some real twists and turns that I did not expect and it was a real page turner of a book.
It was well put together and completely from a Abby's point of view.
I loved how Abby was tested again and again trying to save her friend and the ending was a superb ending to this book.
Loved it :)

ALilLacey (2 KP) rated Lizzie Bright and the Buckminster Boy in Books
Mar 4, 2019
This isn't normally a genre that I read but it was Aprils book group choice so I gave it a go (sad stories make me sad!) The friendship that formed between Lizzie and The Buckminster boy was one of faith and finding out about a different way of life. It's hard to think that there was a time when people really choose to treat other people in this way but it was nice to see that a young boy could overlook what society told him he should see.
Lindsay (1717 KP) rated Kaya and Lone Dog: A Friendship Story in Books
Apr 9, 2019
This is lovely story about a little girl named Kaya. She finds a lone dog near her village. There are something that happen and tell you have they become friends.
It also tell you a little about Naive American back in 1764. It quite a quick read but there some historical history about that time. There unique friendship that bonds. Things Kaya need to learn along with Lone dog need to learn. There something Kaya learns while taking care of Lone Dog. To find out more about them pick up the book.

Auburn (57 KP) rated Just Friends in Books
Apr 10, 2019
Just friends focuses on what happens when you have so much self doubt and feel invisible. Josh doesn't really believe in himself and knows he isn't good enough for new girl Jena. When they become friends and she relys on him his situation becomes more screwed up. A should he/shouldn't he starts. Add in an old friendship that takes a backseat and it's a lot to read.
For me the inner monologue was just a tad annoying. I felt the ending was suitable but the way it comes around just doesn't feel complete.

Trish (4 KP) rated Rich and Pretty in Books

I read reviews before reading the book so I knew not to expect anything big. Going in with less expectation brought with it a very thought provoking book for me! I am still in shock that it was written by a man.
This book is the story of friendship between two women from childhood into adulthood. It is real. The struggle is real. Their lives are real. Nothing happens except life. It made me re examine my friendships and feel better about how our relationships have changed and evolved. So refreshing to read something real.

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2204 KP) rated The Secret of the Mansion (Trixie Belden #1) in Books
Mar 9, 2018
Meet Trixie, Honey, and Jim as the trio form a friendship and hunt for the treasure that is supposed to be in Jim's great uncle's old house.
This is a very favorite series from childhood on, and I just love meeting the characters again for the first time. They aren't quite themselves yet, and can be annoying as a result. Just know they grow stronger from their friendships by the next in the series.

Lindsay (1717 KP) rated Wait...Wait for the Thunder in Books
Feb 15, 2018
This book is about Friendship. You also learn about ranching in that time. It about Luke and Ray and North Flat Ranch. There some Historical in the book.
It based on a true story with some fiction in it. I completley story. You learn somewhat what to do when in a thunderstorm. Though most of this book is about cattles and the lives of Luke McKeever and Ray. I really enjoyed this book and I was really would recommend it if you you enjoy Cowboys or Ranching and a bit of History.

I LOVE these guys!
I absolutely love GMM and the guys behind it. Rhett and link are hilarious, have an incredible team full of creative ideas, and their videos honestly are one of the highlights of my days. My favorites are the will it? And taste test episodes. They are always trying something new and putting smiles on my face. Their friendship is so real and they can be so relatable I truly wish I knew them. If you want a good laugh, I recommend this show 100%.
