Imogen SB (4507 KP) rated Seal Team Flix in Tabletop Games
Mar 19, 2019
'This is a design of silent moments and held breath giving way to furious high fives and sore bronchial passages. It’s novel and quite addictive. It’s even extremely difficult propelling repeated play and focused intensity. Take all that and cram it inside that massive box of cardboard goodness and you have one of 2018’s most definitive releases.'

I didn't enjoy this quite as much as Ian's story. Ian had a sort of cocky inner voice and a way of coming across that I really loved. No offense to our hot geek but I didn't get as good a vibe from him. But then again this being written in dual POV made their relationship growth a lot easier to follow.
I did enjoy this a lot though and look forward to reading more books by the author.

As a former comic book geek this story drew me in. I have read other books by this author and they were great in their sweet simplicity. This was a bit more complicated. I loved Night Terror she was the perfect villian but her main love interest seemed a bit blah. Iwould have liked to see more verbal and mental sparring. That said I did enjoy this book and will read the next one. The uniqueness of it is a draw in itself.

I really, really want to like this game. I kickstarted it and was so excited to play but the two times I was able to, we spent so much time looking through the rules and going to board game geek to check for clarification that the game lost its momentum. A lot of things were unclear and it made it difficult to play. Hopefully someone puts up an updated set of rules that clarifies many of the questions we had so we can better enjoy this game.

Thought this was brilliant untill I saw Star Wars. Thought the story was really good and thought it was up with Star Trek. As you probably can tell by now I was a sci-fi geek lol. But I was into this in a big way liked the way it followed them to earth. (1 more)
And then followed them around for a bit. And the new Battlestar Galactica where brilliant from beginning to end I have them in my collection and pull them out every once in a while
Loved this when I was a kid

Game is fun
Minor strategy
Casual
Simple. Great for kids & casual gamers
Build your kingdom using tiles in a domino-style game. Score by matching zone types with crowns on your tiles. This game is a lot of fun & great for casual players. Heavy-duty players may find it too simplistic. The "sequel" Queendomino kicks it up a notch. But if you're gonna play with your kids or your wife, who may not be the biggest board game geek, this one is okay.

When Rick Moranis was a force
My daughter asked to watch this as we watched it together when she was younger. A simple and enjoyable tale of sibling rivalry and the classic underdog story. The misfits and their tomboy leader take on the slick and polished team. Some classic stereotypes and geek tropes make for some fun viewing. The films climax shows the unlikely victory for the underdogs and a lesson learned by everyone.
Kids will love it and grown up can also find some entertaining parts. A good rainy day film from the 1990s
