Weirdly interesting
Kind of hard to describe details of this film without giving things away.
Patrick Wilson and Ellen Page are mesmerizing both playing deeply flawed characters in this very interesting film. The movie will make you cry, wince, cringe and be disgusted all at the same time and different emotions throughout as you try and figure out character motives and backstories.
I enjoy a thriller you can't figure out, and this one definitely foots the bill. The heavy plot is not for everyone so be warned.

What I expected to be a riveting, exciting, thriller novel turned out to be a very slow, predictable, murder mystery of a scorned woman and wife. It was an alright read but it was hard to get through it and force myself to get to the end because it hardly kept my interest. Would I recommend it to a friend? Very doubtful. Would I read again? Negative. I do plan on giving the author another go around and I do plan on reading another book of the authors.
The Marinated Meeple (1848 KP) rated Codenames in Tabletop Games

Broken this out a few times, good with larger groups
This is not the game for 4 people although it's possible to play that many. this game really shines when there are teams of people deciphering the clues together and arguing about it. I find 8 to be optimal, one person giving clues and three people to a side deciphering. 4 vs 4 is best. Anything less and it's just lest of an experience. I've never had more than 8 to try it out, but I'd hope its even more fun.

I have a love of Fairy Tales so I was really excited to have the opportunity to read this novella. Unfortunately, I wasn't a huge fan of it. I tend to like stories where I am connected to the character. I really didn't feel connected to any of the characters nor did the story hold my attention.
The writing was good, but the twist in the story was extremely predictable and was a little disappointing.
Ultimately, I'm giving this 2 stars. The writing was good but the story missed the mark for me.

Must read!
This novel is as heartbreaking as it is hopeful. It deftly jumps around time and narrators more successfully than many others, even while giving you a complete, linear-feeling storyline. Amazingly, this book makes you love and miss your parents, idealize and exemplify your children, and then swap everything around all within a paragraph. You will feel the first love, the uncertainty, the pride and the camaraderie with each and every character. A definite must-read!
PyroTheDragon (6 KP) rated the PlayStation 4 version of Resident Evil 7 biohazard in Video Games

This is not Resident Evil.
When I bought this, on a whim with no real research, I though I was getting a zombie game. What I got was not zombies, though it had somewhat of a resident evil feel the game is way off script. Without really giving details I can't explain it any better than this. You remember the Halloween series? Most of the movies followed Mike Meyers and his antics. Except for one somewhere in the middle that had nothing to do with him. That movie is this game.

Kurt Cobain is at his literal best (1 more)
They play more than just their own music giving the album a diverse sound
This is the ultimate unplugged experience, being challenged only by maybe Alice in Chains. Kurt Cobain is at his literal best. His voice is so powerful throughout the album as he takes on Nirvana classics as well as covers of songs that inspired him, from David Bowie to the Meat Puppets and more. Nirvana Unplugged is essential listening for any rock fan, especially fans of grunge and 90s Alternative.

Just Because
I can not decide what I liked best about this book or what I liked least. However, it was a good young adult book for those who like science fiction with a little bit of romance mixed in.
MILA's world is turned upside down when an accident involving her falling out of the back of a truck end with her mother giving her some information that she would have never guessed. This information starts MILA on a journey to find herself and her place in this world.
