Way better than expected
This was definitely one of the best movies I have seen, ever. I saw it in the theater, and when it was over, I was sitting there a few minutes debating on if I should go get another ticket. I have never done that with a movie. I suffer with mental illness, and I was afraid this would not accurately show mental illness. Boy, was I wrong! Anyone with any sort of mental illness can relate, and those with no mental illness should watch it to see what we go through (exaggerated a bit, of course).
[This is How I Find Her] by [Sara Polsky] was a different take on dealing with mental illness for YA. Instead of the teen struggling with her own mental illness she is struggling with her mom who suffers from it. [Polsky] does a good job showing the struggles of those who love someone who has a mental illness in all different ways. I will be adding this book to my classroom library.

This is a great resource especially for men who are caretakers of their wives who are fighting a chronic illness.
Mental illness is no joke and I felt this made a bit of a mockery of it. The concept while interesting was poorly executed and everyone was blamed for her mental illness. It honestly triggered so many of us who do suffer or have dealt with people who suffer. I cant put into words how much was wrong with it.
