When this movie was announced, little kid me was pumped for it. I read everything I could on Pocahontas, I had the barbies, I had endlessly anticipated it.
I have only seen this movie once, in theaters when it came out. I was beyond disappointed. What the hell was that story? I'm still irritated at it all of these years later, and will never watch it ever again. Woof, this is one of those movies where it was so off in the source material, it was unforgivable.

The start of this show I really enjoyed, i found it captivating and compelling. It was interesting to see how these men were living on their journey and bits of their back story. Things turn bad for the man ad the show carries on and it seems to reach a high point. And then from there I thought it became slow, boring and tedious. It was a shame because of how well it had started. By the last episode I wasn't in any rush to watch it.

I did not enjoy this book - it was a struggle .. 2 stars for just being a book and one that remotely had a plot and the blood and descriptions and photos were cool. The rest of it was NOT FUN and I DID NOT enjoy it.

It started off interesting, I thought it'd be cool, but it progressed slow like a snail and I wanted to sleep through it. It did not get exciting and I will definitely not be continuing this series - shame.

this book was so cute and funny - it was so predictable, but the cuteness makes up for that I think.

Des was just adorably clueless, and Luca was .. typical. I don't know why I liked this so much, I gobbled it down in a day and I didn't want it to end.

It was well worth the read either way, and I'm glad I read it. It was kind of along the lines of Geekerella for me, it was major fluff, and major adorable

I must have seen the movie or heard enough about it that I thought I read the book years ago. It turns out that I didn't.

The book was a very easy and fast read. Ignore the fact it took me a month to read it. It really only took 2 hours to read and was just very spread out and life and other books got in the way.

Give it a read and see what you think. If nothing else, it will help in trivia games.

"I love Chinatown. Great movie, I mean, it just is what it is. Unbelievable, just a classic. I just really respond to that movie. It’s real; it has this heightened reality about it. Very powerful. It’s something that sticks out in my head. Seeing it, and watching it again and again, then seeing it as an adult. Something I can continue to watch through the years and be inspired by, and get lost in, and just forget about everything and say, “I just had a movie experience.”"

"It’s such a modern film and it was really just taking all these risks and pushing the boundaries. When you know the history about it, it’s so interesting because it bankrupted the people that made it. I don’t even think it was that successful when it first came out. It just kind of built up this audience over years and years. It’s so beautifully shot and the music, everything just came together, and Sean Young. That was a defining moment in her career. Perfect."

"The first book I fell in love with at the Elizabeth (NJ) public library. I found it on my own, memorized it (I must have been around four and couldn’t read yet). I loved it so much I hid it so my mother would not be able to return it to the library. I thought it was the only copy in the world. To this day I feel guilty. It was the first book I bought for my daughter’s library when she was born."
