I read this to my girls and they loved it. They said it was "spooky and funny" and that they want to read the others. They like the characters and how much adventure that is in these stories. I am glad I was able to review it for the author with my kids :D

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2357 KP) rated I Will Surprise My Friend! (Elephant & Piggie, #6) in Books
Mar 9, 2018
Hilarious book as Piggie and Gerald decide to surprise each other. Not only is the plan not well thought out, but it shows the character's personalities. It will leave adults and kids laughing.

David McK (3562 KP) rated More William in Books
Jan 30, 2019
Further collection of Richmal Crompton's William stories, where the titular character gets himself into more scrapes and misadventures. I have to say, as well, that the language in them is actually quite advanced: while the stories may all be about a kid, I don't really think they are written *for* kids (if that makes sense>)
