"Another one is Tetsuo: The Ironman, directed by Shin’ya Tsukamoto. To me that’s up there. That’s up there for me. I’d say the whole Tetsuo series, just because it’s such a beautifully handcrafted movie. You can tell there’s so much in it. I love that kind of, you know, like the early Tim Burtons and the David Lynches and all that stuff. There’s something about this Shin’ya Tsukamoto stuff. It was just at the perfect time when cyber-punk — what cyber-punk looked like — he was one of those people kind of establishing that. And whether people know it or not, Tetsuo: The Ironman was just hugely influential on everything, on sci-fi after that. It became like a design resource for everybody f—ing with sci-fi. You know, people have seen these images without even knowing the movie. It’s really, really awesome. I just think about it still, like, “How did they do that with no money, really? How did they pull this s— off and build these amazing effects?” They had to redub all the audio because there was no audio when they filmed it. There were a lot of elements against them too, but they pulled it off and it’s still just so amazing. I just hope to do a fraction of that with my own film."

Interesting storyline every episode
Excellent acting
From someone who doesn’t usually like medical dramas, I absolutely adore this show! It has more of a focus on the people side of things than the medical side of things (which is possibly why I like it so much!). A lot happens in each episode and to put that in perspective, everything in the trailer I watched for the show was in the first episode. I would definitely recommend this show to anyone who likes exploring relationships between characters, not just people who like medical shows!

"An African American filmmaker [Robert Townsend] and being Keenen’s little brother inspired me to want to do movies. It really told the whole truth about African-Americans in the struggle, in a funny way, without all of us banging on the door going, “Hey Hollywood, love us.” Through laughter, it erased color lines, and is one of my all time favorites. I love when you do a movie with people doing multiple characters. That’s something I do and love to do, and I find that it’s one of the hardest things to do and still be grounded as a regular person in a movie. I’m inspired to do movies like that in my next phase."

Life is a tornado for Alex Connor as we continue where we left off in book one. Now she is training hard for a fight that will test her strength and will. This book has everything in it. A weird love triangle and some interesting guys. Alex reunites with her mother and now is looking for her dad.
I have been pulling for Justin since book one hoping that she would pick him. I would’ve never guess the twist she throws at us in this book. Ryan doesn’t do it for me so I’m hoping that he cast some spell on her. Lol!
You get so much from these books that you don’t want to put them down or wait for the next book. I love the mystery and all the magic the author wrote. I also enjoyed how Alex could be sweet or spicy. The different powers and possibilities the author gives us just sucks you in.
I don’t really like love triangles because someone always gets hurt and this book is clearly no different. It’s not that hard to pick one guy. But we wouldn’t be reading if we didn’t enjoy a little drama.

This was such a sweet book. I couldn't put it down. I loved traveling with Ari and Dante as they discovered all the mysteries (good and bad) that life has to offer. This author did a wonderful job of letting readers fall in love with the characters at their own pace rather than shoving them in their faces with an obvious "you must like these characters".

Cute cozy mystery that will make you smile!
This book was absolutely delightful! Not just for fans of cozy mysteries, this seems like it would appeal to all sorts of mystery lovers. I am absolutely in love with Flavia de Luce, a precocious 11-year-old with a penchant for poisons. I laughed so much reading this, and can't wait to read more of her adventures!

"I’ve read The Vacationers and Modern Lovers, both in the summer. Emma Straub's books are like a rosé wine served best while the sun shines, bright and bubbling. Her quick wit and compulsively readable plots make her books perfect summer reads. All Adults Here is no exception. It is a story about families, love and forgiveness that you can read in a single sitting."

Nintendo has struck again!
Picked up this game last night and can't stop playing.

I love these games so much since Nintendo does a great job of playing homage to itself with these. Not too far along yet, but it is so much fun for sure. I even got my teenage daughter to play with me so that is saying something. I like the unlocks so far as it keeps you engaged.

The variety of stages and characters is amazing. I'm glad you have to work for unlocking stuff as that makes you want to keep playing.

Haven't done adventure mode yet, but looks like so much fun!

I'm actually going to buy an additional controller today.

For anyone who loves Nintendo, this one is a must!

I was never a fan of these sort of games but it came out and I love it. You’ve got the best Batman and the best Joker in 2 of the best games I’ve ever played. Asylum you are stuck to Arkham Island and there isnt much you can do, City I feel is the best, more characters, more gadgets, more abilities, bigger environment, bigger bad guys to fight, loads more trophies. There also is side missions ranging from helping Bane to facing off against Deadshot. What I really love is that no character is the same from previous movies or TV series, I mean Poison Ivy is seriously fit, Freeze looks futuristic, Catwoman looks like a prostitute, you can play as Catwoman, challenges on both Games are good, city’s is tougher though. If you love a good game or a fan of the Dark Knight like me, you won’t be disappointed
