I really wanted to love this quasi prequel to Carpenter's masterpiece. I enjoyed it yo a degree but the mediocre cgi gore can't hold a candle to Carpenter's practical effects

Arguably the best comic book based film of all time, Christopher Nolan created a masterpiece. If Bale's Batman voice wasn't somewhat ridiculous I would petition for a rank of 11.

Musically superb with a melancholy feel.

Folky undertones about sad stuff, but this does not make it a drag, far from it it.
