OK, before I start this little review, I have to say that I’ve never been a Christmas movie lover, I’m not too much of a Grinch, but for me Die Hard is the closest I get to one, but last night I was looking through Netflix and noticed that The Christmas Chronicles was showing and I’d heard so much about the Netflix film and that it had one of my favourite actors in it, Kurt Russell, so I gave it a try.

As I mentioned earlier, I’m not really a Christmas movie lover, but The Christmas Chronicles has certainly got me in the Christmas mood (even if it is only November), and to top it all I’ve watched again today, purely for review purposes of course.

Haunting of Hill House Review
Haunting of Hill House is a Netflix Original released mid 2018. The show caught me off guard as I suspected it was just another show on Netflix thst was hyped up and failed to entertain. However, I was surprised to find myself binging the season every chance I got in my spare time. The first thing that intrigued me was the "Easter Egg Ghosts" is what I have labeled them. These ghosts would appear somewhere in certain scenes that the characters never notice but we, the audience, noticed. They're not in every episode or every scene, but they're there. The spookiness of this show was far better than I thought it would be, the story was unique enough to leave me wanting more, the ending took a different turn than it was leading up to, not a bad turn, definitely a different turn. The show in my opinion deserves a lot more attention than I feel it has received as it isn't just another ghost story, it's one that had kept my wife and I on the edge of our seats but also on guard in the dark. Check The Haunting of Hill House out on Netflix if you're brave!

If you type “true crime” into the Netflix search field, you’ll be presented with an astonishing collection of shows, many of them indistinguishable from one another. How do you even begin to sort them apart? Are they all the same? And are any of them actually good?

So Vulture has done the job of sorting the good, the bad and the ugly:

Hidden among the genre’s vast selection of bad reenactments, gleeful-sounding narrators, and disgusting, exploitative dreck, you’ll find quite a few worthwhile productions. Here's what's available:

Amazing movie
For a netflix movie I was beyond impressed. The acting was great, the story line was amazing and original. I love the idea of everything from my favorite story line the hobbit comes together in real world (orcs, elves etc.) I truly hope that they make a sequel and make more movies of this caliber.

Take down good shows too often
Love it
I love Netflix, but the price raises are ridiculous. Not because it's expensive but because of how often the prices get raised. I also don't like how some titles are only available through the mail. They take off good shows pretty often too and it's almost not worth it.

After?
As someone who read the After series, I feel like the movie could've been better. Scenes moved through too quick and one of the main characters Hardin Scott was portrayed as a nice, kind guy in the movie. Overall I feel like After would be better as a Netflix series which would comprise of three seasons, one for each book.

Awful Horror Comedy
Well seeing this on Netflix it sounded like a Horror version of the breakfast club. Interesting idea, that's all that is interesting though. Turns out it tries to be a comedy horror. It fails there and is just an awful film. Bad acting, plot, script, no scares and no laughs. Skip past this if you spot it!

Found another gem on Netflix(original). It's titled "How It Ends". Stars Forest Whitaker and Theo James(among others). Very good acting, con m film work and storyline. An end-of-the-world style movie about a father and future son in law crossing the country to find his daughter after power goes out and things start going crazy. Really worth a watch!
