Amazing intensity with each match (2 more)
Requires smart teamwork for success
Satisfying movement and disc throwing mechanics
Slight learning curve for new players (1 more)
Major lack of map and game variety
Echo Arena is a great game, easily one of the best multiplayer VR games to date. The fast-paced and intense gameplay is unlike anything else we’ve ever seen and the sheer skill required to nail the timing of group coordination is immensely satisfying.

GameCritics (290 KP) rated Elite Dangerous Legendary Edition in Video Games
Aug 11, 2017
The freeform structure and wide variety of roles is impressively liberating. (2 more)
Nuanced but accessible combat controls.
Fun multiplayer options. Decent port from the PC.
very steep learning curve. (1 more)
Earning money at the beginning can get extremely repetitive, as can the mission design, lifeless planets, and identikit space stations.
The pioneering space adventure makes an impressive landing on PlayStation 4, with more content than ever and the promise of even better things to come.

Ahead of its time
An interesting film based along the lines of being able to commit the perfect murder. Two friends decide to put this to the test and to revel in their deed by inviting the victims family and friends round to a party.
This film has a very simple production and set in just a few rooms. It has the illusion of being filmed in one take. Which to me made it feel like watching a play. An original idea and interesting premise but not quite the most entertaining film.

Mad Max in Space
A very decent Sci/Fi, thriller effort.....first time I can say that in a long time! A very good atmospheric film with plenty of action. Starts well the middle is patchy, but it picks up again towards the end. Good effects and set design, the overall feel of the film and the spaceship is quite creepy, good use of lighting etc. It's not the most original, it feels like a compilation of ideas from the best known Sci/Fi films. Overall a good effort that most should enjoy.
Great creepy visuals (2 more)
Good young cast
Very funny
You'll float too
Shockingly I've not read the book but do remember the '90 version shown on TV. Some parts are true to the original and there is a lot of new stuff as well. There does seem to be nods to other Stephen King works as well, like Carrie and Stand by me which is a nice touch for fans.
The young cast are excellent and Pennywise genuinely creepy. I wouldn't say it's scary but does have a creepy atmosphere and surprisingly very funny!

One for the Slasher fans
A very good early 80's slasher film with some original kills, even by todays standards! It did feel a little bit long and slow at times but it has plenty of red herrings and quite a twist for a very early slasher film. The poster alone stuck in my head from an early age for quite a while. Not overly gory but still a very enjoyable film for slasher fans. Just seen the lead character was the blonde girl in little house on the prairie.

Awful remake
30 years on and we have a remake of the little known, but very weird film Long Weekend (1978). I saw the original when I was very young and at the end you just think WTF?! This is almost by the numbers remake, so I knew what was gong to happen, which effected my overall opinion. I remember the first being a lot more tense, scary and jumpy. This just didn't have the same impact. Check out the 78 version of you want some real creepy thrills!

David McK (3600 KP) rated The Transporter Refueled (2015) in Movies
Mar 3, 2019
The first Transporter movie is pretty much the definition of a guilty pleasure, due in no small part to Jason Statham in the lead role and some impressive stunt choreography.
The second and third? Largely forgettable, almost completely abandoning the limits of plausability.
This one is, essentially, a reboot of the series: the same basic premise is there; the same reliance on car chases and brawls in roughly the same setting (the French Riviera) and even elements of the same plot, but this one sorely misses the almost magnetic personality of its original leading man.

The storyline was well written, though the fact that the kids were aware of the financial issues is a big no for me. The kids experiencing the magic and the adults not believing them is a bit overdone as well. The family experience is very relatable. The magic the kids experienced was not overdone and was excellently planned. I never saw the original, but this movie was excellent.
