A good romp with some tense atmospherics.
A great premise with some stunning CGI. Some of the scenes feel a bit forced as they have borrowed alot from other xenomorph/horror films.
Ryan Reynolds plays Ryan Reynolds with his quirky and snappy sarcasm carrying through.
Jake Gylenhall was a favourite of mine as he generally brings another character to the table.
All in all a enjoyable flick with lashings of aliens and enough tension to keep you interested.

Great start to the character, I just think the action could have been better.

For my love of the first movie, I knew this wouldn't be as good, but it still had my laughing the whole time. I love Ryan Reynolds. His humor matches deadpools character to the T.

I missed this one in the cinema when it came out (in 2017).

The only reason I've even heard of it now is due the the 2021 sequel.

Anyway, this is an action-comedy buddy movie starring Ryan Reynolds as a down-on-his-luck Bodyguard, who has to accompany Samuel L Jackson's hitman to a criminal hearing in The Hague where he is to give testimony against Gary Oldman's dictator.

With Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L Jackson on board, you know pretty much what to expect: bickering, gunfights, more bickering, swearing, bickering, gunfights ...
