Chrissie-ann (78 KP) rated Fifty Shades Freed (2018) in Movies

Can't complain
I enjoyed this, I don't think the story came across as it did in the book but I was thankful there was more focus on the story behind rather that the sex scenes which I think took a lot from the movies originally. Sometimes I found the acting quite awkward but I think that was part of the way the film is and how they should come across.

Great Sequel
Great sequel! There was plenty of action and plenty of dinosaurs. You wouldn't really know this was a sequel if you hadn't seen the first one already. Sometimes you should stop with one movie and not continue on this movie line is not the case. If they keep making them like they are this will be a great series of movies to watch.

Twas The Nightshift Before Christmas
This is Going to Hurt was brilliant. It was hilarious and heartbreaking in equal measure sometimes at the same time. Like Adam Kay said, that was his Lp and thus his EP. It's more of the same just shorter and of the Christmas theme and its brilliant. You can't help be in awe of our NHS staff.

James Koppert (2698 KP) rated Edie (2017) in Movies

It's sentimental but I knew it would be
Edie staring 83 year old Shiela Hancock as Edie who loses her husband and decides to climb a mountain in Scotland.
It's a very sentimental film there is no doubt, its about living life and not letting it slip by and dying not achieving your goals but sometimes on a weekend it's nice to just relax and watch something like this.

This novel is classic Hendricks-Pekkanen and it does not disappoint! It is fast paced, engaging and the twists and reveals are well timed to keep the reader interested and guessing. The main character can be a bit grating sometimes but, in the end, her outcome is satisfying. I wish the ending had been a bit more involved or explained but, all in all, a real page-turner!
