Betty White is 96!
Sometimes you are just in the mood for a crocodiles eating people movie and not that stupid Sharknado crap. This movie actually has a great cast including Bridget Fonda, Bill Pullman and Oliver Platt and has some genuine funny/scary moments.
You could do a lot worse in this genre with other lesser films.
I quite enjoy this one and HAPPY 96TH BIRTHDAY TO BETTY WHITE!

Sean Farrell (9 KP) rated The Hidden Reality: Parallel Universes and the Deep Laws of the Cosmos in Books
Mar 15, 2018
This was an absolutely fascinating book, even if it felt like it was sometimes going over my head. I will advise anyone who doesn't have an especially good pre-existing grasp on theoretical physics to perhaps avoid reading the footnotes as you go along, as it can actually make some of the information harder to absorb. That being said, there is much to learn in these pages, and if nothing else, it will certainly leave you with a lot to think about.

Meh...
First off, some of the stories in this book were good. A lot of them were confusing. Maybe it’s just me. I don’t know how to describe how they were confusing. It’s just that sometimes I didn’t know what was going on. Like I said, maybe that was just me. This book did hold my attention for the most part though.
I would still recommend this book to others as they may enjoy it.

Addicted from first play
I have been playing non stop5hours a day since recieving the game and let me tell you it pulls you in. The worlds are beautiful and immersive a d varied enough to keep the game fresh. When you get the controls down itslikesecond nature as you mine and build your empire I definitely would recommend this game as its joined fallout for me amongst greatest modern games
Love it
I love instagram. I’m nosey and can see what people are up to. There’s always a picture/photo which gives a focal point and shows you what’s actually going on.
Hashtags make it easy to find things relevant to you but there are sooooo many hashtags now that it is hard to know what to look for sometimes.
Haven’t worked out how to do “stories” yet but use it to promote my hand dyed yarns @knitsamadworld

AT (1676 KP) rated Erased, Vol. 1 in Books
Jul 22, 2019
I really liked the first volume of Erased. There's a lot of mystery to it, even though you feel like you know what's going to happen. The main character of the story is sent back in time to his fifth grade year to try and prevent a string of kidnappings and murders. Along with that, he has to relive those days as a fifth grader, with his adult knowledge and life skills. It's a delicate and sometimes awkward balance for him.

It is fun seeing how the Dresden Files have evolved. This collection of shorts are fun and entertaining. Sometimes I think Jim Butcher is a little too excited about putting Harry in the thick of it. Most stories are laugh out loud and while they tell you which books each story is before or between you really should wait until.you finnish Changes before you read them. Beware the last story has sooooo many spoilers if you don't.

Tiffany Webb (57 KP) rated Peanut in Apps
Jan 23, 2020
Peaceful place to meet mummy friends!
Peanut is a fantastic app to use of your a mum looking to meet other mums to hang out with, chat too and arrange play dates! It's perfect for seeking advice from other parents when your struggling a little and just a nice stress buster with a little bit reassurance from other mums in the same position as you are.
I have a love/hate relationship with Facebook, I love the videos and random funny stuff that people post. As well as being able to keep up with family and friends I can't visit as much as I'd like to. But all the political ranting and name-calling is getting so old I sometimes find it hard to even look at the app on my phone.
