Amazing story
Based on a Stephen King short story
Probably the most loved film ever!
Ask most people their favourite film and this will be the most mentioned. Great story of over coming hardship and being better for it. A very emotional film.

Overall I LOVE LOVE LOVED it. What irritated me was the fact that everyone said it was SOOOOOOO original. If you read Stephen King, their are some very similar story elements and plot points.

Average good vs evil flick
I wanted to like this as it's based on a series of Stephen King books, which I haven't read so can't compare. This just felt like a very average film and very predictable. A shame considering the two male leads.

Who is everyone's favourite author? Can you pick just one?

Mine is Stephen King. I'm currently in the process of collecting all of his books (made harder by the fact I can't buy new, I have to get them secondhand). I love his stories so much.

If I had to pick I would say Sarah Dessen. She writes Young Adult romance, and I have been reading her books for years.

That's so funny that I found this post! I'm actually watching the shining right now for the first time.

My third Stephen king book that I've read, I found this one far more captivating than Christine. Although not as suspenseful as Misery. I read it for the topic of supernatural for my monthly book club. I felt that this was one of his more relatable books.
