I enjoyed this book but not as much as the first one.
The TV show has just started on Fox in the UK so I thought it would be a good time to read book 2.
It was a little confusing as the original group of people in the first book have dispersed and I couldn’t keep up with who or where they were. There are also other characters which seem to be part human part viral.
Considering whether or not to read book 3 as the ending of this one makes me wonder where the story goes next.

Sound Cast
Wow, just wow...
What can i say about this fantastic tv show? The first season shocked the world by becoming a massive hit with sci-fi and horror fans alike. This young cast has amazing chemistry and the writers created something special. It took me on a trip down memory lane reminding me of things like the goonies and stand by me crossed over with alien and poltergeist. Season 2 picks up exactly where season 1 ended and continues to deliver a cracking story and I look forward to what these guys can do next.

About what I expected - It made me laugh.
Take Baywatch (2017) for what it is. It is a movie based on a bad - though much loved - TV show from the 80s and 90s. This is not some huge dramatic movie. It is not supposed to be Johnson's or Efron's chance at an Oscar run. It is just a fun movie. I enjoyed it. There are some very funny moments and the cameos from The Hoff and Pam Anderson were perfect.

Well made adaptation
I love Robert Galbraith’s (J. K. Rowling’s) novels and was very excited when I found out they were adapting it for tv. That excitement bittered a bit when I learned each “season” would only be 2-3 episodes long and would cover an entire book. There is a lot of material in the rich and detailed novels that would have lent themselves to a full length season. That being said, the show was very good. The casting, in my opinion, is excellent. I wish there was more!
