Ok is the perfect word to describe this movie. I'm a HUGE true crime buff, and I'm very familiar with the Bundy cases. The film was largely focused on Liz, his long-time girlfriend, and, to be completely frank, Liz was completely boring. She didn't just report Ted's name once, she talked to the cops at least 1 more time, but, whatever.
Zac Efron did his homework, and definitely watched any and all footage of Bundy available. His performance was probably the best part of the movie. If you really want to know about the Bundy cases, just read Ann Rule's book.

Thoroughly enjoyable podcast that covers all of my favourite subjects, i.e. true crime, cults, cryptids, UFOs, ghosts... I've listened for years and still look forward to each new release. Marcus is a master when it comes to compiling each show and provides strong, clear narrative throughout. Most of the time they successfully strike the right balance between serious and fun. The only downside for me is Henry going off at too much of a tangent sometimes! Finally the hosts are all loving dog-dads, and mental health advocates, which just makes me like them even more.

Mock true-crime podcast adaptation of three of Lovecraft's best-known stories, scripted and directed by Julian Simpson. Achieved in impressive style, and genuinely frightening in places. Purists will be within their rights to complain about the way in which the stories are updated, and the extent to which the adaptation becomes progressively looser and looser as the series continues - but the inclusion of other real-world esoterica and conspiracy theories is impressively done. The tone wobbles slightly in places, but the performances are uniformly strong and it's done with wit and intelligence. One of the best HPL adaptations in any medium.

"My favourite series of all time, I’m not kidding, is True Detective season one, it’s my favourite. I just rewatch it all the time. Matthew McConaughey is so good in that show, it’s incredible. It’s dark, (but) kind of ethereal too. There’s something so mystical and magical about it. Because you don’t quite know what’s real, what’s tangible, and what’s some horrifying fantasy. I think what keeps that show separated from every other kind of crime show is that it has this kind of magical ability to be dreamy, too. It’s just gorgeous, it’s a masterpiece."
