I just finished watching this film.
All i can say is WOW and not in a good way.

This film and character are iconic in pulp fiction. After i watched this film i question why? I was bored with this film. Now it might because movies today have more action, so maybe i was expecting it to be more action pack.

To me this film was good and forgettable. If i seen this in the early 70s and it was not hyped up as much as it is it would just be a footnote on the bottom of a page.

The theme song was great and i would remmber that.

Music was great.
Setting was great
Acting was great

I plan to watch more of the Shaft movies. I know the newer ones are better.

Not bad
This movie had some good acting(and some mediocre) but the cinematography was good and the story, overall, hit the mark for creepy. This lady played the part of humiliated high schooler turned psycho pretty well. The story unfolded well. A little slow at first but rolled along at a good pace pretty quickly and smoothly. These kids, however, missed so many red flags with this woman. Naivety at it's finest. The ending was a little weak but at least they didn't go the typical "leave it open for a sequel" way Hollywood seems to love doing so much. Some partial nudity but otherwise nothing to graphic for younger viewers, though probably not for too young of viewers. Anyway, for you adults this one is worth a watch.

I was SO looking forward to going to see Judy. And it’s lovely to see Renee Zellweger looking herself after “that” plastic surgery (possibly).

RZ singing was awesome, it was all very glossy and I even shed a tear. So I’m not sure why I left the cinema slightly disappointed in the whole thing.

Basically the story is the end of Judy Garlands life when she was a pill popping soak who couldn’t get a job and the 5 days she performed at The Talk of the Town, London..

I don’t know if it was because it seemed to end quite suddenly or what. However, I did enjoy it enough to want to watch it again, if only for RZ performance which was outstanding.

Voyeur (2017)
Voyeur (2017)
2017 | Documentary
It seems as though the only thing that Netflix does well is true crime documentaries and series.
This was an interesting one, it was about this dude who bought a hotel in the 1960s to spy on guests and satisfy his voyeuristic tendencies. Interpret that as you see fit. The dude's a creepy dirt bag and it made me feel slightly sick to my stomach hearing about his adventures.
This documentary follows the journalist who is writing the story, Gay, and features interviews with the creep. It's very interesting to see the process that this old-school journalist takes, and his wariness about the whole thing.
Is the voyeur telling the truth? Or just making this stuff up?
If you can stomach the disgusting dude's exploits, it's an interesting watch.

Christmas Within Gotham
Batman Returns- is a very great movie. More batman, more darker, the penguin, catwoman, and so much more. Everyone is good in this movie, from Micheal Keaton to Danny DeVito, Michelle Preiffer and even Christopher Walken was good in it.

The Plot: The monstrous Penguin (Danny DeVito), who lives in the sewers beneath Gotham, joins up with wicked shock-headed businessman Max Shreck (Christopher Walken) to topple the Batman (Michael Keaton) once and for all. But when Shreck's timid assistant, Selina Kyle (Michelle Pfeiffer), finds out, and Shreck tries to kill her, she is transformed into the sexy Catwoman. She teams up with the Penguin and Shreck to destroy Batman, but sparks fly unexpectedly when she confronts the caped crusader.

It is such a great movie to watch.

Everybody Wants to be A Cat
Such a classic, a classic filn that everyone should see. If you havent seen it than watch it. The music, the plot and of course the cats. So many cats. Cats everywhere.

The Plot: When a retired opera singer leaves her inheritance to her cat, Duchess (Eva Gabor), and three kittens, the woman's butler drugs the cats and abandons them in the countryside in order to inherit the fortune himself. Lost in unfamiliar territory, Duchess and the kittens meet Thomas O'Malley (Phil Harris), an alley cat willing to help them return to their home in Paris. They meet several kooky characters along the way, including two English geese and an alley cat jazz band.

Everyone wants to be a cat, right. Meow!!!!

Wasn't the strongest of stories that are like this
Good but had it's down sides
The film was adequate to what other films are out there in this general style, I loved the cast and the filming was good. However the film took a while to kick in and i found myself gorming at my phone more so than watching the film. I really enjoyed some of the story and the action scenes were okay, they could have done a lot more with the film, I feel as though it wasnt thought through as much as it could have been, but overall is a good thing to watch casually if you have the time, or even put it on in the background while you're doing something else.

I really enjoy black mirror. I like the dystopian feel to the episodes, and the realistic moments that come with that. So when I heard about Bandersnatch, I knew I had to watch it (play it?).

I love choose your own adventure stories and games, so bringing that to a movie was such an interesting idea.

The system was very smooth and didn't lag. It was wonderful and drew me in.

I see some people complaining about it being repetitive.. .but it's a choose your own adventure story, so that kind of goes with it. You need to replay it to get the different endings, and if you mess up, you get sent back. That's part of the joy, in my opinion.

A boring action movie

The marine stars wrestling shovel john cena, a man who's wrestling is just as bad as his acting, although some improvement has been made to his acting abilities, this first attempt was the start of some very questionable choices.

John cena plays john triton, a former marine discharged from his services (so the ex marine) who wife is kidnapped in a cliched heist gone wrong.
He the Forrest Gump's his way to her rescue with some pretty great dialogue from the villains.

Apart from a couple of great fight scenes, this movie personally deserves less applause than DOOM (I'll get to that one).

Maybe worth an occasional watch but definitely not in my top 100.

Brutally violent
This time around John Rambo has made his way to Burma where he is solicited to drive a group of doctors and relief aids to help with the genocide happening within the country. He eventually agrees and immediately has run ins with the local pirates where he jumps into action.

Much more bloody and brutally violent than the previous Rambo films, Stallone must have felt this was the right or direction direction to go after quite a long hiatus from the previous films.

If it wasn't for Stallone's portrayal of Rambo, the rest of the protagonists and villains are very generic, so you don't really care about them.

Enjoyable if you like brutal bloody, violent action with no other real point.
