"Frank Zappa's glorious Straight label gave us Captain Beefheart, Alice Cooper, the GTO's and this absurdly eclectic 1969 album by sardonic folk-blues-comedy-rock-cabaret belter Judy Henske and hubby Jerry Yester of the New Christy Minstrels and the Modern Folk Quartet. No two tracks sound like the same band (or even singer), thanks to Henske's radical versatility and Yester playing ten different instruments; but unlike the Turtles' equally perversely wide-ranging The Turtles Present The Battle Of The Bands, no track sounds much like anyone else either. "

I love her so much, and often think about her telling us how in the first days of January every year she starts a new book. I adore the picture of her always dressed up to the nines in heels and makeup, walking out to her shed in back of her garden... like a warrior going into battle... and then giving like people me a chance to fly with those tales... “Daughter of Fortune” is a fantastic adventure."

It's a battle of morals wrapped up in an emotional roller coaster. You clearly see the wrong - cheating on anyone is wrong - but you also see how wonderful both Kellan and Denny are. It's so easy to slip into Kiera's shoes and understand her dilemma, neither men deserve to have their heart broke, but it's also hard to watch her struggle to choose because you know it will only end in pain. There are even moments when you'll feel like, either way, you would be okay with her decision. Thoughtless is a wonderful, emotional mess!
